I've noticed that when my tank is full it usually doesn't hit well for awhile.

What type tank do you use? If it's a DC carto tank for example, you have to prime it the first time (watch you tube for how to do that). If you keep the PV upright and its a top coil, it will need a moment tilted to get the wick wet again.

I use a 3.5 ml bcc tank with dual bottom fed wicks and a 2.2 ohm atomizer. I usually vape at 3.8 volts but often I use 4.2.

Usually if your tank is totally full, wicking is bad. When you draw air from your tank, the under pressure / vacuum sucks liquid into the wick. If there is no air in the tank, it can't expand so liquid flow is bad. That is why tight airflow can cause gurgling (too much underpressure / liquid flow) and too loose airflow can cause dry hits.

I love it when I do a fresh fill on the Russian, because the wick gets super saturated and needs to be power vaped. lmao. Yeah, I fill from the top and when it is screwed down the pressure forces juice into the wick, no prob, I just crank it up to 75 watts and have one damn fine vape.

Depending on the gear, filling is where most people either experience some flooding, which has to be cleared, or dry hits, because there was not sufficient time allowed for juice saturation. Also when on the last dregs of juice one can experience either gurgling and some flooding, and also the dreaded dry hits.

The better one knows and understands their gear, the less problems they will tend to have. It's all part of the learning curve. Even experienced vapers have to relearn when going to a new mod and or atomizer. Do a wick or wire change up, and have to learn the characteristics and properties of the new wick fiber and wire.

    Vape long and Prosper.!!!
