Well, I'm from Connecticut, so I don't want snow, black ice or frozen pipes ever again. Frost, meh. That's minor.

I don't know after ten years in South Florida, as much as the winters are long and cold here, I don't think I will ever miss the heat. I never did adjust to the heat in south florida!

We have had a few inches here, in upstate NY. yuck.

Funny that on the east coast you measure your snow in inches, here we measure in feet or it isn't worth measuring!

Well, Bailey's and splash of creme de menthe works pretty well in hot chocolate, too ;-)

Move to Washington state. I've seen that here. I remember sitting in high school and it was a nice sunny day. Within 5 minutes it rained snowed hailed lightening and thunder. They have a saying up here. "If you don't like the weather stick around it changes every 5 minutes".

I wish I could move there, it is so beautiful and the rain doesn't bother me.

Shorts in the winter sounds great LD but I can't take the extreme summer heat or the snakes,alligaters,lizards,parmetto bugs etc. etc.

That's why God made Cali Fran......... for the people who don't like the snakes,alligaters,lizards,parmetto bugs etc. etc.

Oh we got snow here Bov. It's an hour away from me. So for much of the winter, I get to see the beautiful snow capped Sierra's while driving to work on sunny days

16 inches on the ground. Thunder and lightning last night-that was different.

We got about a foot or so. It's melting fast though (yay!). A huge limb off our huge lilac tree (yes, tree) broke off under the weight of the snow.
