J Tank and Boge cart not wicking properly?

I am useing a Megaladon with a J tank and boge 2.0 ohm carto. I have gotten 1 carto to wick properly then as soon as i refilled it, it stopped wicking correctly. All other cartos have not wicked properly and i have to drip after a few pulls. I am useing a 30% VG juice. I also fill as shown in the video from electronicstix. Any tips on getting this to work properly? Thanks

Ok after a lot of aggrevation I punched a hole at the top of the carto above one of the original 2 holes right under the cap. this allows air to come into the carto from the top of the cart when the top is dry allowing the bottom to wick properly by keeping the air pressure the same inside the cart as outside not creating a vacuum. I dont know if anyone else has tried this yet but it works amazing now. No more having to do a ton of dry pulls which was giving me a headache. Hope this helps somone with the same problems I had.

Also the Megaladon is amazing and so is the j tank. You guys might want to test my method out and might want to start punching an extra hole at the top of the cart right underneath the top cap.

Here is a picture of it. There is still a hole on the other side of the bottom. I also dont fill past the top hole to allow it to breathe. Even though the top of the polyfill will still always look dry. I can chain vape without ever getting a burnt taste. It really allows the bottom 2 holes to wick like they are intended to. It never leaks or floods. It only floods a little after re-filling but a quick blow through the top clears it right out. Ive tried it on multiple carts and works amazing every time.

Should the top of the carto stay wet while using a tank? The only time mine is wet, is on the initial install, but I never get any dry hits. Does anyone have a picture of the way the carto top should look in a tank. (btw, 80/20 pg/vg, Boge 3ohm @5v on Provari)

Should be Dry, The liquid only really goes where it needs to be. It only needs to be fully wet on initial install so the core is saturated. if not.. burnt taste. but after that having the top dry is just fine.
