Well i ordered a j tank and it doesn't leak though i do have some gripes. i usually use smoketec DC lr cartos so the ones that are offered pre-punched are not that great tasting. and because they are punched, when i move the cartos to fill the tank it leaks out the bottom. and not only that it appears to be dry on the top.

so one i was thinking i could get some flex tubing and use the top and bottom of the tank to make a longer one for somketec DC cartos. any ideas or thoughts?

I'm confused... Where is it leaking and why would pre punched have anything to do with leaking?

and because they are punched, when i move the cartos to fill the tank it leaks out the bottom.

I understand the bad tasting carto. That happens as QC isn't always the best and some cartos are bad. But are you sure its saturated enough? You can use pretty much any carto you want.. No need for flexible pipe or anything. Where would you even use that lol.

i put the cart in the tank with the top off and fill pretty full but not all the way then put the top on it so it will push the juice in to the cart. it fills up the cart up pretty good and check that the tube is clear. vapes pretty good for a couple hours then the top of the filling is dry i can still taste some fluid but it taste like it's burning. i use a 70/30 pg/vg i was keen on making sure that the carto had fluid in it. it feels as though the carto can't wick the fluid fast enough. like the holes maybe to small. and as for the leaking i attribute that to the punching they didn't the carto so it leaks down the side

rolo007 is correct on the punching. Use a dremel and cut a slot in a carto. Another thing I want to mention as I've used tanks since they hit the market, is that dc's have a tendency to leak in tanks. Why...because they heat the juice up and makes it the consistency of water. I quit using the dc's in tanks and started using resurrectors from crystalclearvaping.com. I haven't had any leaking yet and I can chainvape the tar out of it. I couldn't do that with dc's without the dreaded leaking issue.

funny you say this..I order some from CCV to try out and have had nothing but problems like leaking and seem to heat up heck of a lot more then a DC..so i went back to my DC's for now. will try another resurrector when a DC needs to be change out. BTW i use a 1/4 saddle vale to punch the cartos. DC never leak the Res leaks every time.

I use dual coils in a map tank with no problems of leaking or burnt taste, you just need to make sure the orings are in good shape and are a tight fit.
