It's possible, yes. I had concerns with some of the PV vendors selling these at prices half of what the known battery companies were selling for, and we know that many were re-wrapping them, so I had many doubts. I made a personal decision to stick with the Orb, Illum, etc. companies when purchasing batteries.

Whether that was of ANY value, I'll never know. The fact that yours were heating up though doesn't sit well with me. A good LH, Samsung, Sony (etc), shouldn't do that. Anything is possible, but odds are against it.

I definitely trusted ProVape. If I remember correctly even some of the top three battery vendors were shipping low grade LG batteries however not intentional. Obviously they all made good on the ones they sold.

Thanks for the confirmation.

So got back to my apartment and setup my jac :D

1st I thought the screen was scratched on the mod, but turns out it has one of them little protective films over it, phew.

I love the feel of this mod, the what I would call velvet main body feels great and admit I am stoking the mod at times

I did hook up to escribe and did need a service pack update, as I only use watts, probably not needed, but did it anyway and then custom screen and few other tweaks to my liking.

I ended up going with the avocado 22mm on top, was going to put a digiflavor siren on it, but wanted to keep the height down as much as possible, but would prefer a matt black tank to more match the mod though, so a new hunt has started :)

Thanks to enablers, it is sure a great mod for the price ;)

It's not difficult, OP, and you've got plenty of friends here who will be happy to assist if you need it (present company included).

I've done it, but just once, and there's no value for me (no TC, etc.). I push de button, I vape de vapor...

No changes I need to make, just thought if it weren't to involved, I'd toy with it sometime. That way I when I got everything all screwed up, then I could come back for help to un screw it. :) Probably should just leave it alone, as I just set it for 7 watts, and locked it down, and vape.

So, I am back from my weekend getaway and my JAC still hasn't arrived. I was sweating it out on Friday as I had to go into work a few hours before we left and hubby was home. I was almost glad it didn't come Friday. I was hoping for a surprise in my mailbox tonight when we got home, but no such luck. Not even a note from the P.O. that they tried to deliver it. I did get a tracking number but can't get any info past it's been dispatched and is in route to it's destination. I tried putting the tracking number in the USPS tracking system and number not found. Hopefully, my luck changes tomorrow. (Hubby is going to work and I will be home)!

That's odd, because when I cut and pasted the tracking # from the Royal Mail website into the USPS website it worked fine. Oh well.
I did do a copy and paste into the USPS tracking system...mine is on the slow boat from Scotland!

I finally did get the battery into the Jac and played with it.
Still stand by my earlier comments: it's really nice in the hands. I like the tactility of the rubbery part, like the appearance of the battery cover, have no issue removing it, I get a kick out of the magnetism, love taking it off and having it yanked from my fingers as I start to replace it.
Someone earlier mentioned that the fire button is a bit too easy to trigger. I think that's true when I compare it to the Radius, but not a big deal for me. If I keep it in my pocket then I'll 5click it. Very nice mod.

I ordered on the 14, shipped on the 15th & still waiting... :( I haven't bothered with requesting a tracking #. I'm hopeful tomorrow will be my lucky day as well... :D

I ordered on the he 16th. Shipped on the 17th. Your post makes me feel better. I am not the only one waiting over the 7-8 days that others have reported. Maybe all the recent orders from this thread has overwhelmed the Royal Post system.

So anyway, I'd be willing to bet some serious scratch that many of us still have a protective film on our screens. That would include me...at least up until now. Nothing I could see suggested I had this film on my screen. I looked and I looked and I looked and saw absolutely no sign that such a thing existed. But I just had this feeling it was on there. So I started picking at the edge and eventually I created a small bubble. I grabbed it with a pair of tweezers and sure enough I pulled it off. I'm almost reluctant to post this discovery because I can hear it now...."Bronze told me to pick at my screen and now it's ruined. Bronze is a jerk!"!! While it is true that Bronze is a jerk I don't want to get blamed for people wrecking their screens. Just sayin'. :)
