Needs a bit of tinkering. The uwell NI200 coil hits the temp limit too fast at 425F.

a question that's probably been asked many times but...are there plans for a 75C fueled version? got replay on my paranormal 250C and orion. don't think I'd buy another DNA mod without it.
I've not read of any plans for the 75C DNA chipset. Incorporating that chip would likely increase the overall cost of the mod by quite a bit, and might not be in JAC Vapours plans for that reason.

They advertise their JAC Vapour series B DNA75 is the cheapest and smallest DNA mod on the market, so I think that is their target base.

Are you guys adjusting internal resistance or any other tweaks in Escribe i should know about?

Looks like a firmware update is available from 6-5-2016?

ATM im using the Uwell NI200 .15ohm coils but i also got a stash of the .5ohm SS coils.
I installed the 6-5-2016 update.

I'm not doing anything with resistance. All I changed in escribe (and uploaded to Sandstorm) was the temp and wattage. I'm using stainless coils @ .45 ohms. TC set at 430 degrees, watts 17.5.

Totally agree. I meant to reply the same thing earlier but I got distracted and forgot. The 75C would add lots of cost.

Question:

My original Series-B shows the temperature climbing when I have the fire button pressed. This Sandstorm does not do that. It just says OFF.

Anyone want to take a stab at why there is a difference? Doesn't make me feel like I'm even in TC mode.

UPDATE: Put a different atty on and now it acts normal. Something must be screwed up with the atty I was using.

I received one of the three mods that I ordered today. But, I did also receive 3 batteries that I did not order. o_O
I have a message into them to find out what the heck...
Just so you guys know, I heard from Customer Support and in addition to apologizing, she said the remaining 2 would be shipped out to me today.

I would hate to put a skin on my Sandstorm, it's so handsome. The one I've been using nonstop for almost six months looks the same as it did fresh out of the box. My mods lead very quiet lives, though, so the most excitement it has seen has been when a cat has knocked it over.

I'm with you. Looks nice just the way it is. It has that satin look to it so it doesn't show fingerprints. The black buttons are a nice contrast. Nice fit n finish. I see no point in covering it up. I covered my Series-B and I'm happy with that (especially knowing the finish wears out) but the Sandstorm looks nicer out of the box.

I don't think I even want a skin for the Sandstorm. I like it how it is. But, check back in a few months. :)
I put a Vaporskinz wrap on my original black JAC for aesthetic reasons. I happen to love the pebble grain texture of the one I chose.

My sandstorm began to show some light wear after a few months of use, but I admit that I'm tough on my mods. I often keep keys or coins in the same coat pocket I put my mod in, so that is the cause of the wear. (I ALWAYS turn my mod off before it goes into my pocket.) I still haven't purchased a skin for my sandstorm, as its not currently in use. I've been randomly using one of three mods lately: my original JAC with skin, Aegis Mini, and today received my new Aegis Solo from the Geekvape rep.

Other than objects messing with the Sandstorm finish are there any other signs of wear...like finish rubs from hands?
