Are they worth it? I just ordered Jameson's peaches and cream and a few other juices from vaperev and wondering if its all hype? Also, I can't find it, but I remember seeing a video from vape bash that showed a metal juice tank that had a part cut out to squeeze.. Who makes it?? Thanks.

ps.. I ordered some kick bass ooey better cake and am really looking forward to that! When "big" girls rave about it on YouTube it must be good!!!

Don't know if it's particularly "high-end" beyond the price. Halo is really high and while I think they are a great juice maker, I don't really know what constitutes high-end juice. I think all juice is supposed to be good!

That said, I do look forward to reading anything you have to say on those juices. I can never jump in with a ticket like that. Good luck.

Do you really have a V Coupe? My freaking dream car, right there! Doubt I'll ever own one on a gun smith/glass blower's pay, but I can dream. Right?

Vaperev does sell high end juice. I really like The Standard Cell Block 4 and Ben Johnson's Awesome Sauce Snicklefritz.

But as Mr.Mann said; all juice is supposed to be good. As they say, taste is subjective. Let us know how you like it when you get it.

I'm supposed to visit Five Pawns this week for a few interviews. I'm anxious to hear how the company positions its prices ($27.50 30ml -- online). I really, really enjoyed three of the company's five e-liquids. One was good, but not as good as the other three. The last had an absinthe flavor, which isn't my thing. The company makes high-quality juices that are unique, but I wonder what percentage of vapers are willing to pay that much for them.

Can we establish what distinguishes a high end from a low end juice on the basis of anything besides cost? Or it being someone's preference (which every line can claim)?
I only ask this because I fear we're inviting a justification for escalating prices without any clear criteria.
Not bashing any vendor here at all. I'm curious about the Vaporev lines too, but haven't been able to discover anything substantial about their ingredients or process that would distinguish them from many cheaper vendors.
Me, I get sucked in by jazzy packaging if I'm not careful. Those lines do have dynamite packaging.

I spent a few hours at Five Pawns yesterday to film an interview and a feature (road trip diary here). After chatting with the company president, I understand the business model a bit better. The company's focus is retail and its online prices are the same as you'll find in stores; it doesn't want to undercut its retail partners with cheaper online pricing. From that perspective, $27.50 is reasonable. For example, all juices at The Vapor-Mart are $24.99 for 30ml. Five Pawns juices use premium ingredients and fancy packaging, so $2.51 more is totally reasonable.

Of course you can buy e-liquids that are as good as Five Pawns directly from online vendors at much lower prices, but that's not the business the company is going after. While $27.50 is high for online prices, it's inline with the brick-and-mortar shops that I've visited.

I've tried a couple Midas juices as well as a few Jameson's. They're good, in fact very good. I wasn't disappointed in what I received nor in the flavor or taste of the juices. Are they worth it? I think that is subjective and a personal decision. I don't order them very often and am usually content with less expensive juices that may not be considered quite high-end.

Kick bass kicks some bass that's for sure. Probably the most underrated juice vendor in existence.

Which juices did you try, and what are your thoughts on them? I've thought of trying a few juices from tthem, but haven't pulled the trigger on an order yet...

I actually bought Jameson's peaches and cream out of curiosity. It was a really good vape, but because I vape toward 7-8mls a day I don't think I'll be buying again. But since it was my first peaches and cream the bar is now set. As a consumer we have so many options to fit our taste palate, budget, and vape style. We just have to test what's out there.

I really like what Aubergine said... about what constitutes a high-end juice...
I think this is a terrific idea... someone start a thread.

It's definitely not cost.

Here's what I would argue... a combination of a few of these criterion... it's a start anyway:

1. The vendor makes their own flavorings...
2. The vendor uses multiple flavorings from multiple flavoring companies...
3. The vendor doesn't offer a range of juices and flavorings that everyone else does...
4. The vendor is a superior mixologist...
5. The vendor closely monitors their nic and base to ensure freshness...
6. The vendor offers a few exclusive flavors
7. The vendor thoughtfully packages the product... (should this matter?)
8. It must perform well

While that doesn't necessarily "make" a high-end vendor, I have never had a high-end vendor that doesn't tend to packaging (I don't mean bows and ribbons, just, as you said, "thoughtfully packag[ed]").
