Janty Ego Atty

I bought my Tornado from TW. I was checking out Janty's site today to compare Atty prices vs TW's price. I noticed Janty has 2 types of atty's for the Ego/Tornado. Dura-Ego, and Dura-Ego TAWA. Does anyone know what the differences are? The DE is much more expensive than the TAWA. Also, the DE has a 6 month warranty. Has anyone used Jantys warranty service? If so, did they honor the warranty, how fast did they honor it if so? Any help would be great...thx much!!

TAWA is short for 'Throw Away Atomizer'. I've not purchased any for quite awhile but in addition to being cheaper they come with either no or a very short warranty. I don't recall there being a noticeable difference between the two in terms of performance or longevity.

The Tawa's are just supposed to be cheaper attys, kinda like a no name brand and I think that the warranty is less on it too. They are said not to last as long as the other attys but I have had a tawa for a while it it seems to be holding up just fine.

Hi,
I have sent back one atty last week on Friday and should have my new one tomorrow from Janty.
I had returned 2 dead attys so far and they have honored their warranty without any problems..
I think its the best thing I have done, was to buy a couple of their atty's..

Thanks for all the feedback....for a 6 month warranty, $15 for an atty...and a couple bucks for shipping......i am going to try them out...

I ordered H20 atty's once, 6 of them to be exact. I got an email after I ordered stating that one of the items that I ordered was out of stock... strange. I only ordered 1 item x 6. Long story short, 6 weeks later I got my atty's, during which time I discovered the wonderful world of LR atty's. Needless to say I will never be ordering from them again.

the new janty low resistance atties are also considered TAWA

the Dura/Ego ones that are $15 have the 6 month warranty...I've replaced 1.. I opened a ticket to janty and told them it died and the atties crossed in the mail...had the replacement in 2 days they sent it out before even recieving the old one back or before I gave a tracking # to them

I agree they're awesome when they have stuff in stock but this whole outstock business with them is getting old. Never seen a supplier that's always outta stock on their most popular models for weeks if not a month and when they do get stock it is not enough for the demand. I hear them complaining about fake eGo's out there and don't buy them, by them from us but they're never in stock or enough. Janty needs to step it up because I'm sure they are loosing a lot of business now that others have the eGo too. But maybe that's why janty is out of stock, Joye was to busy filling orders for the band wagon.
