Here's a noob's take on the whole TW vs. eGo thing. I personally ordered from TW because you get 2 atomizers instead of one along with 10 carts instead of 5. The charger with the eGo charges in something like 1/4 of the time of the TW charger for the same battery. I personally get like 10-12 hours off of one TW tornado battery and it only takes about 5 to charge one....so unless you want 2 full PV's at once there is really no need for the quick charge. Some may prefer it still and each company has it's own Pro's and Con's...these are just a few of the things that helped me decide which to order. The warranty for me wasn't a big issue as I feel I'll be buying parts for extra anyway cause I keep some stuff at work and some at home.

Hope this helps a little

Eastmall sells the same thing for sixty bucks.. two attys.. DOA warranty.. But I've not purchased from them before. Called the Reva or something like that.

It's actually not available yet. According to the press, it will have a 750mAH battery instead of the 650mAH unit on the eGo/Tornado. Supposedly they have also redesigned the button so that it might not have some of the problems that the "TorneGo" units have experienced.

Yes.. I have one on order. I'm personally curios to see what they did with the electronics.... curious if they replicated the Joye design (which reduces the effective voltage delivered to the atty), or if they went with a more "Kangerish" style design that puts out the full 3.7VDC.

I will of course report my findings on my Battery Voltage thread ( http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/joye-510/65055-battery-voltages-surprise.html ) when I get it.

I ordered my TW Tornado on Monday and it was in my mailbox Tuesday (express shipping). I received outstanding service from Totally Wicked and have to say I LOVE the Tornado! I have been using a 510, which I thought was great, but got really tired of constantly changing the batteries. I read on the forum that the "Tornado/eGo was like a 510 on steroids" and they weren't kidding! Amazing vapor and the battery life is outstanding.

I'm kind of curious to see what happens here as I was excited to try a 750 mah battery with their $3.00 LR atty's. Prices seem to be just what I've been waiting for and I wonder if the Riva is pulled does that mean the LR atty's would be affected? Hmmmm, Guess I'll sit back and see what happens. :pop:

Think I might be starting to lean towards the TW now, as it seems not only the number of eGo starter kits are low in stock (or out of stock) but also the parts (carts and attys).

I haven't vaping for two long, and have only tired 2 part systems. Not knowing much about 3 part systems, how often will I be returning to the Janty or TW store to get parts? Is it just a rough patch for Janty (USA store) now, or do they normally have plenty of parts in stock?

For the eGo and Tornado users, how long do your attys last? From what I have read, they can last from 14-60 days (according to TW site). How do you clean/care for your attys to make them last as long as possible?

Is the Reva supposed to be much better that the eGo/tornado? Seems the only difference is the battery and button.

sorry for all the noob questions.
Thanks again!

Hey all,
Ive tried two different two part systems (Greensmoke and Vapor King) and looking to try a three part system.

While doing a little research, i have seen great reviews for the Jancy eGo. I have also read that the TW tornado is the same thing.

Is there any difference in these two devices beside the basics such as logos and differences in the starter kits?

I know that the Janty has a better warranty than the tornado, however the eGo is sold out in black and the Tornado is a little cheaper.

As always, all advice is appreciated!

Thanks!
I just got my tornado in last weekened and it has put my titan mega's to shame... the thing lasts ALL DAY, and that 5v vape is sweeeeet.

Hi Uber,
I've been using the 510 since I started but recently I've been trying to decide between the ego/tornado just like you. I almost bought the TW Tornado, mostly because the Ego stock is sold out and has been for a little while. Then I was looking around on Healthcabin.net and found that they now sell the Ego there. The shipping will take a little while, but I have my 510's and mega 510's to hold me over until my new Ego supplies come in. Just food for thought, but their shipping is a little expensive, I used the ecf coupon code and I had a lot of other things I wanted to order so it kind of worked out good for me. Good Luck on your descision and hopefully we'll both be vaping our new ego/tornado's soon.

I just got the eGo Sat. from Janty USA & the button is fine.

The eGo/ Tornado button has an occasional habit of "hanging up" in the housing and/or allowing debris to get trapped underneath the internal flange... causing it to stick on. Unless they have very recently changed the tooling, I imagine that yours has the same exposure.

I have 11 eGo/Tornado batteries..... 6 are still working.

They are the same except for one really big difference. Janty gives a 6 month warranty. Can't beat that anywhere.

I just checked out eastmall for the LR atty's and the page for them is blank. Pulled or out of stock, IDK. Also, they were listed in the clearance section.

I don't see them listed in the clearance section... but Eastmall said that the LR atties wouldn't be available until the 10th of May.
