Today I bought an Ovale (Janty rebranded) eGo USB pass-thru battery. At first i was trying to buy a standard 1000mAh battery, but was told through another customer (translating to English) that in Korea there were none, nor were there any 900aMh batteries. Only 850aMh batteries. The clerk showed me the 650aMh against the 850aMh battery and of course the latter was longer. At the same time he showed me a USB pass-through which was the same size as the supposed 850aMh battery. So I choose the USB battery for a marginal difference in price, about 5000w (~$ US 5).
But after reading now, I have discovered that Janty only makes a 650aMh USB pass-through battery. Has anyone even heard of a Janty 900aMh or 1000aMh USB battery?
Lastly, I noticed that on the standard battery pushing the white LED 5 times turns off the battery, however this is not the case with the USB battery. It appears to stay on all the time even when unplugged. Is this normal for the USB batteries?
