are they same resistance of the 'round' ones?

Yes.. as far as I'm aware the eGo XL cone shape atomisers are the same resistance as the eGo XL round shape atomisers - about 2.6 ohms.
But with a more aesthetic shape ...

It's hard to gauge exactly, but the draw does seem slightly improved..
.. and of course definitely tons of vapour!

The cone cart tip is different too; just a touch wider and fatter (1-2mm) than an 801 or 302 whistle tip.
