Hey all. Received this today in an email from Janty. I ordered directly on their site, so maybe I'm getting this before others.

Dear Mid Customer,

We are very much dedicated in providing you the highest of standards when it comes to your Janty electronic cigarettes. Although our produced MiD products are fully functional and around 15 review sets have been sent to several professional reviewers worldwide, we have found a few exterior issues with your preordered device. We feel that it is still not within our standards of quality.

This unfortunate development and the current Chinese New Year period in which our assembly partner is on leave, has caused significant delays in our production resulting to a current non-availability of your ordered product.
Therefore, we regret to inform you that your pre-ordered item will no longer be processed as originally scheduled. In line with this, the Management of Janty Technology will refund and reverse your payment for your preordered MiD product and its accessories.

If you have ordered other products along with your MiD Series under one transaction, we can:

1. process a partial reimbursement for you. This means we will send you all your non-MiD products and reimburse you for the MiD items alone.

2. If you only ordered MiD products and its accessories under one transaction, we can process a full reimbursement for you.

Please let us know which option you prefer by replying to this mail with the option of your choice and we'll take care of it asap.

Should you wish to reorder your MiD device after the reimbursement, once available in the stores, our special offering of a free full software upgrade with the Platinum bundle of modules is still available for you.

We would like to give you a 20% discount coupon code, valid for the purchase of a MiD device or a MiD set. Please use the following coupon upon re-ordering MiD:
XXXXXX (not telling )
We highly value your business with Janty, especially having you as one of our pioneered clientele for our MiD Devices. With these changes, we are more confident that we can provide you high quality MiD Devices for you to enjoy.

Thank you for your understanding and continuous support with Janty!

Sincerely,
Janty Technology

So it is capable of VW but only if you buy the software after you pay for the base unit...unique marketing strategy there...

Actually, it is capable of 3-6 volts or 3-15 watts out of the box. However, you can only set 4 profiles with the software unless you buy the upgrade. What that means is you can set a profile for example of 8 watts, one for 9, one for 10 watts, etc and then you can actually change between those settings using the joystick while vaping. It essentially will act like an SVR/EVO giving you a few levels to choose from. The difference is you can connect to your computer and change what those levels are as well as what color the LED is when using a particular profile. And you can choose if it's set to voltage or wattage. I know... it's a bit weird. The realtime power upgrade allows you to actually change the setting while vaping in small increments just by pushing the joystick up or down.

btw, I don't like the upgrades/modules either. To be truthful, what I like is it is an all metal device that can be set to wattage without upgrade. Once you set it, you really don't need to change it since the wattage will change as the resistance changes. You know the drill.

Also, I really like that it is exactly the same diameter as a Vivi Nova, it has a flat top for a clean fit, and it isn't too long like some of the mods coming out recently. For example, the new Innokin looks great and I would love to have one, but I don't want to carry around an 8 inch vaping device.

It sounds ridiculous to me!

To me this pv makes vaping more complicated than it has to be.

I actually agree with you 100%. At first I thought there was NO way I would buy one, but I'm a junke and I can't help it. I just like the size, build materials, and wattage for under $100. It's $83 without batteries or a charger right now.

That is a reasonable price tbh. I watched a youtube video on it a while back and I was a bit overwhelmed and confused lol. The guy was setting it so it would hit different volts at different times which I found odd. Like the first second you'd be at 6 volts, then 4.7, then 5.2. Didn't make much sense why someone would want it to jump around like that. But everyone is different. I have to admit the changing colors is cool. I could do weird rainbow effects and what not like I'm at a rave. Ha.

Hey Aikhme. I see you are about to hit 3 days analog free. Congratulations. It feels great doesn't it? I hope the change is going easily for you.

So far so good! Not even 1 analog for 3 days now.

The first day was really rough. I don't know how I survived. Was even at a party drinking alcohol and surrounded by smokers. Had massive cravings but survived.

The next 2 days were not so bad, but still get the occasional craving. It seems the longer you go (I am only 3 days into it) the easier it gets. Or at least I hope so anyway. I'm certainly not out of the woods just yet.

Thank you for your nice words.
