The original eGo e-cigarette and RY4 e-liquid are Janty creations (though some vapers dispute the latter claim). The MiD is actually a platform. The MiD One is the device. It's very powerful, but also very quirky (based on using a prototype). I totally understand why people have a problem with the device. That said, I don't think you should dismiss the platform. A vaping device with a screen and the MiD PCB is inevitable.

The RY4 gets more debate, but they definitely made the first eGo, which JoyeTech then took to the sky and beyond.

It's like kena said, nobody disputes that Janty created the eGo. Some vapers dispute that Janty created RY4, but no Janty competitor has publicly stated otherwise (that I know of). For my part, I believe what Ludo told me and have been given reasons that support what he states. Of course if someone believes otherwise and can support their argument, I'm totally willing to listen if it's debated constructively. What I wanted to highlight is that Janty is responsible for two major, major contributions to vaping and the company/creators should be lauded.

It is crazy how so little is known about this. A well informed budy thought that janity was an arm of joye.
