Janty USA Website Under Attack!

Hello Everyone,

We've just received word form our website host that our sight is currently in the process of a "DDO Attack"... Basically someone is trying to hack the site and shut us down.

Our server company is on this and trying to isolate the source, however, as they explained to me it is like "Searching for a needle in a haystack". They are optimistic that they will find the problem but it could be until Monday before everything is resolved.

This is affecting our website and all of our email accounts. Messages sent to any of our accounts may bounce back to you or will be held until the server is repaired. If you need to reach us in the meantime please PM us on the forum.

Our apologies for the inconvenience... We will keep you updated on the status.

Quick Update!

The site went down last night at 8:00 and we apologize for anyone who was trying to reach us while we were down.

I just spoke to the hosting company and they have isolated the problem but have had to change several of our IP addresses. What this means is that the site is on it's way back up but depending on where you are located you may/may not be able to access it. It appears that over the next 24 hours everything will be propagated and we'll be back up and running.

The US e-cig forum has been attacked and brought down several times. That could be the reason it hasn't been available for days. Still down, last I checked.

Pretty targeted attacks, so someone doesn't like e-cig sites.

Wouldn't be shocked if it was him.

He seemed to go out of his way to cause problems with people here.

If he is so savvy, I doubt an IP check on his profile would turn up much but a proxy.
