Hello all, fairly new to e-cigs. I first had the Puresmoker penstyle but didn't care for the shape of the mouthpiece. I was then introduced to the Jany Dura. I love this e-cig as the mouthpiece if very similar to an analog cig and it feels more like smoking. Plus the vapor is very nice. I have had one issue with it though and I am hoping someone can give me some tips.

I purchase empty carts and fill it with liquid. The problem I have is that the liquid seems to always come out into my mouth. It tastes terrible and burns my mouth pretty badly. I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, do you have any tips to make it stop? Thanks all and I look forward to being a part of the e-cig community.

There is a baffle chamber at the top of the cartridge near where you suck. If you take a paper clip and stick it in the inhale hole you can pry it off and see what I'm talking about. The baffle area can actually get liquid in it if you overfill the cart. Also, if your battery isn't very strong or if your atomizer isn't heating sufficiently, when you inhale, you can get liquid pooling in the baffle chamber . . . which then has a tendency to provide the dreaded mouthful of niquid.

Pop the top off the mouthpiece and thoroughly clean the baffle chamber with a cotton swab. Then remove the wool and swab down the inside of the cartridge itself. Then when you refill your cart, try not to overfill. The top of the wool should be very moist, but there should be no liquid pooling on top.

If the problem persists and you're using a fresh battery and you haven't overfilled your cartridge, then you may have a wonky atomizer (although that seems fairly unlikely if you're getting good, strong vapor).
