Spent 30 minutes at Customs in Tokyo this morning trying to get my package from Healthcabin. I had ordered a bunch of flavors for diy, 2 115 ml vg, 2 115 36mg nic juice, 3 evods, a protank 2, a Zmax and miscellaneous. Then the customs notice arrived. Well they weren't interested at all in the liquid because they didn't realize there was any nicotine in the lot. As Synyster pointed out on the Japan forum, it's the atomizers they're watching. I lost 2 evods from the package. I was worried when they first mentioned only two atomizers because I thought I had ordered a bunch of replacement heads as well. Not sure how they treat them. I have those coming on a separate order from fasttech.
They were nice about the whole affair. Never was there a large man with a badge overlooking the situation. They even had me call the Ministry of Health to see if they'd give a different ruling since it was for personal consumption.
It's all very inconsistent. I've ordered multiple 5 pc packs of Vision Nano Clearomizers in one shopment no problem, even though it was clearly opened and retaped with Customs stamped on the tape. Mostly, I just don't think they are flagging all of the packages. A friend had gotten three evods in a package from Healthcabin just yesterday. They also confirmed the limit on juice which contains nicotine is one month's personal supply, although customs has no idea what amount that would be since everyone is different. And one customs official made it quite clear in non-verbal Japanese fashion that if I were using the atomizers for non-nicotine use, then I could take them all. Since I had 230 ml of nic juice sitting in the box in front of me still unnoticed, I was happy just to lose the 2 evods and walk out that day with the rest of my booty.
