I used organic cotton for my wicks for the last couple of month with no problems, then I got KGD Japanese cotton to try, now I always get dry hits, and sizzling sound ( juice burning sound ) after each draw, so I'm guessing that it's not wicking properly, I tried every way of wicking I managed to find over here no luck.
My coils is 28g on 2.4mm 1.4ohms on lemo and KFL.

Hey what's up Elmasryahmed, i see you're still having the same issue you mentioned in my thread. Actually i've been suffering from the same issue on my KFL+ for no apparent reason so let me check a few points with you hoping that will get you through the wicking issue:
- When you cut the Japanese cotton, make sure you cut along in the same direction of the fibers.
- Don't pack too much cotton through the coil as this might hinder instead of help the wicking process by choking it.
- Try a larger diameter coil, a 3mm inner diameter.
- Try the bunny ear wicking method, in which after you pull your cotton through the coil, you lift both ends of your wick up and install the lower chimney base. Then you cut the cotton slightly above the edge of the chimney base, fluff the cotton, and then gently tuck it with a mini screw driver down into the juice well. I just received my Lemo and rewicked the prebuilt coil which is 3mm i guess, using the bunny ear method and only a single dry hit through 3-4 tanks.
- Try not to fill your tank all the way, as this issue seems to arise when i fill my tank all the way up. Try only half of the tank to ensure enough pressure in the tank to wick properly.

Like i said i have been suffering the same issues when my tank was filled to the top, i had to do several primer pulls to get through without dry hits. Once the juice level goes lower the issue disappears. Looks like a lack of tank pressure resulting in bad wicking and eventually the aweful dry hits. Maybe someone else more expert than me that went through the same issue will pop in and explain what we might be doing wrong. Meanwhile try what i suggested above, i hope it will solve the issue for you.

I also had dry hit issues with KFL+ and organic cotton. Then, I adopted the wicking method of Phil Busardo, the bunny ear wicking method. It's perfect. No more dry hits whatsoever. Try pressing the wick after installing the lower chimney so the cotton does not block juice channels. I tried also Rip Trippers method, but it didn't work.
