Why does it taste so bad, and what can be done to mitigate the weird taste it gives? I find that this is concurrent with all coils that kanger sell. I prefer regular organic cotton as it doesn't give any bad taste at all. Anyone else find this as well? What if I wash the new coils and let them dry fully prior to their first priming?

I normally use a STM RBA and build my own, because I hated the coils it came with, and I bought some vocc coils to replace what came in my genitank (which is my backup). The updated coils now are vertical and have the ... cotton in them. I don't have the time to figure out how to rewick those since they are vertical and would be a real pain to wick. The first few puffs are great, but then comes that dank taste that I have noticed from the kanger ... cotton.

I can't get cotton bacon....I've looked for it. I don't want to buy from the states. I've known about it for about a month now. Just can't find it from my regular places to order from.

Experienced that different taste the fist time I used what I call 'Fukushima' cotton.
Now it's all I use, wicks great, I don't notice the 'flavor' unless I don't pay attention with a new wick, and it's a little dry.

Now, anytime I use anything else, it taste strange and smells like grandma's linen closet.
