ROFL!!!

My favorite bits: "I'm gonna box Hitlers ears in with my right hand while I give you the smack down with my left!" (are we the first in history to fight a war on 2 fronts... and WIN?) and of course "Let us make you nice TV's!" But don't forget about the great cameras! :D

Andria

And remember when they gifted us with the Walkman, the fore runner to the ipod? That was their way of saying "Sorry about that whole Kamikazee thing. We had a late night drinking, even we don't know what we were thinking."

I trust KGD cotton a lot more than standard organic cotton, and KGD is pretty much pure-white (it has some specks of black and stuff in it, but whatever, it's pretty gosh-darn white).

When I used to use "organic" cotton balls, they had a really strange papery taste that would only go away after the first 2 or 3 times dripping on it. I'd always advise people to "prime" their wicks with it, and not actually vape that initial drip, because who knows what's causing that papery taste (or why it goes away..) With KGD, I've never had to prime my wicks. The flavor is the same on the first drip and, say, the 5th drip. Also they're just easier to use, already oriented in the right direction, they come in convenient pads..

And to the people saying they're expensive.. Really? I mean, like, yeah it's not 3$ for a lifetime supply, but it is like 20$ for a lifetime supply. You can find boxes of sheets for that cost, and a box of sheets is more than enough for you and your buddies to split.

I can't understand what the big deal is with this expensive Japanese cotton that is so popular now with folks that vape?

I use Ko Gen Doh cotton to roll my wicks. I don't really care that it's from Japan. The main thing for me is that it comes in pad form. I find it super easy to peel off a thin layer and roll it into a wick of uniform thickness and then cut off what I need. I am able to do this and waste a minimal amount of cotton. I used to use cotton balls and it took a while to try to peel off an amount of uniform thickness to use to roll a wick. Invariably, I would throw a bunch away that was not uniform in thickness. I bought a $12 box of KGD that should last me about five years at the rate that I'm using it. All in all, I don't find it to be expensive, but you and others may share different sensibilities. When I run out in about four years I would consider buying a U.S. brand of cotton pad if they make and sell them by then.

perhaps you should try reading the entire thread?

I was referring to the picture the op posted immediately after his first post.

I think the op is getting at the fact that some Japanese cotton is a tan, ecru, yellowish color not really white.

I live in Alabama and all the cotton around here is whiter than kgd. I have never seen off colored cotton out of the field and we used to grow 120 acres of it.

I'm sure there are different varieties or something like that around the world. I still don't worry about the whole organic and the reason is due to the chemicals in rain and ground water.

Doesn't matter if they don't use pesticides when China is right there next door basically. The wind I'm sure blows that green air across the water, lol.

for small coils the KGD kinda sucks.
For bigger soils it is handy but the salon coil is easier to make Stottish roll wicks out of.
I was making Scottish Roll wicks before they were invented ;)

For bigger soils a handful of cotton ain't gonna cut it, I'd be jump'n in the shower.

Wine snobs.
Beer Snobs. :If it's cold and has alcohol pass it here.
Cotton snobs. :If it vapes pass it here.
Coil Snobs.: Pattern forming.
Drip Tip snobs.: Pattern complete.

Just an observation which I find humorous about vapists.
As with most things humans indulge in.

What can I say, I'm easy to please. :D

I've never used KGD but I tried Muji and thought it taste like crap. Stuff is all over out here, I prefer these little pads they sell at 7-11 out here. Wife has some Chanel cotton I might try.
Not sure why it was but I got some Japanese cotton from madvapes that gave me a cotton taste. If you've ever tasted cotton haha
