I would say its a side affect of tension as well. When I first started I was trying to put out my e-cig in a ash tray lol.I also was staying up late at nights and was feeling like I had about 20 Red Bulls to drink. As your body detoxes your symptom should go away but that's just my opinion as mine did.

Welcome to the forum!
The ways in which our bodies communicate with us never ceases to amaze me. It is difficult for me to tell the difference between some psychological and physiological withdrawal symptoms in my personal experience as I have never quit smoking for this long and decreased my nicotine intake.

I hope your symptoms abate with the passage of time!

My hubby was doing the teeth grinding in his sleep when he quit chewing and started vaping. I had him go to the dentist and get bite plates made. Under $75 but worth it to save his teeth. You might consider talking to your dentist and see what he/she says they can do. The plates really can't be worn during the day unless you don't mind talking funny but they would help at night.

I already have a problem with grinding my teeth, though I haven't noticed myself doing it any more or less than before I started (about a week and a half ago). So far the only symptom I've had is a stuffy nose, but I'm not sure if that's due to the switch or some other outside factor (like the weather not being able to decide whether it wants to be 30 F one day and 70 F the next).

I have had some trouble getting to sleep. That may be because before I go to bed I put my batt I'd been using on the charger and top off all my cartomizers for the next day, so I'm left with a fresh batt and freshly filled carto begging to be vaped. Now that I can get my nic fix inside, and I won't catch my bedsheets on fire, I find myself turning out the lights, crawling into bed and getting my vape on before I fall asleep. Warm covers and warm vapor, some nights it just tastes better than others and I don't wanna put it down.

I have had some of these same issues for the last 2-3 weeks. Headaches, jaw clenching, difficulty in falling/staying asleep, and yesterday, nausea and vomiting. On average, I am not vaping more than 1ml per day, and my nicotine is seldom over 18mg in content. It has been 10-12 days since my last analog and before that, for the last smoking month, I was not exceeding 4 analogs per day. All I know is that I hope it stops... soon.

I've gone through jaw clenching before (the last time I quit smoking) to the extent that I was so sore and concerned I went to the dentist. Focus on keeping your teeth slightly separated and jaw relaxed is what I was told. I lost a few pounds in the process.

I don't personally don't think it is form the withdrawal of nic but the other chemicals in the the cigarette. I've not experienced it this time around.

Welcome to the Forums! I didn't have any jaw clenching. However, the first 2 weeks, I was slightly more irritable than usual. My husband and I switched at the same time. I'm sure some of our bickering was related to the decreased Nicotine intake. I would give it a while and see if it goes away. If you are worried about it (or worried about your teeth), ask your dentist.
