Jazz 18500 pipe help!

I bought the Jazz 18500 about a month ago. I got the kick upgrade and purchased the crown on the site. My problems are many! The first is the crown and the battery get extremely hot after about ten vapes. I have to fiddle with the crown (pulling it out and putting it back in several time to get it to fire. And if I leave the battery in it, it drains the battery when not in use! Someone help me out! Did I just get a bum pipe? I have tried to email the company twice and have received no support. They were very helpful before my purchase, responding in a couple of hours, now they are in the wind.

The pipe is fine, the crown ... not so much.

However my first Q's would be what kind of battery are you using, and what kind of wattage are you trying to get that little 18350 battery to produce. Sounds to me like you might be exceeding the C rating of the battery.
IMO, you would do far better with an AW 18490 battery, and a LR carto with your pipe, and forget about that Kick clone.

My Jazz pipe was 1.5 years old, and I sent it to Romaniac to have the switch upgraded to the new style. All it cost me was the freight to send it to them. They did the upgrade free of charge, and I had my pipe back in less than a week. So I would say that their customer service is damn good.

I'm using an AW IMR18350 700mah. And I am looking to get around 4.5 volts, nothing absurd. I was skeptical about the crown but it is what Romaniac sells on the site. Ill try messing with the voltage again assuming I don't get frustrated with fiddling with the crown again! Thanks
