"Aren't you worried about inhaling water vapor?"

That one is always the most ludicris!

My mother in law constantly tells me "Its the same damn thing, why dont you just quit!" Forget the fact that I can breathe now, I can mow the lawn without nearly dying of exaspiration. I can take my dog for a short jog, I can climb more than 2 flights of stairs at a time and I dont reek like a rotton ashtray anymore. But yeah, i guess its the same damn thing. :p

Oh and my one friend who still smokes tells me "no thanks, I'd rather keep it real"

I no longer wake up and hack loves out of my lungs for a half hour before my daily endeavors.
Oh what a mental image, and from memory no less. The one that got me is the "Cigarettes are a lot cheaper", then again the only thing we have in the public here in San Antonio is the Mall bunch.

I had a few good statements made towards me.

1. Hows the pretend smoking going? I would rather smoke.

2. Those things are expensive.

3. Your still smoking that thing!

The above statements are from my peers at work. ( Rn/Lpn's) LOL
Edit: I have tried to convert them. Most of them are smokers. One nurse just started smoking. I asked her about the ecig she bought for hubs. She stated "it doesn't work right".

Allot of them laugh at me. They think it is one of my passing obsessions. I had to stop taking my Buzz to work because I was quite annoyed with the "Its a crack-pipe" statement.

I guess some people are afraid of change. I even offered my buddy one of my old battery and some carts. Even offered to fill them up for him. He's just like jaw man it doesn't even feel like a cigarette and I like ashing.

I too tried to get a buddy to vape. He said it was too potent for him  This dude smokes nearly 2 packs of Kools a day and 12mg menthol was too strong for him.

It takes a certain level of commitment to quit smoking, but when someone is ready, vaping is an excellent crutch.

Honestly, I think those whom are most jealous would be the 'cold turkey' quitters. Smokers, as we all know, love to smoke. I don't really think many of them care about vaping and have no desire to quit. Now those who quit 'cold turkey' might find ill taste in vaping because they feel like it's cheating in some aspects. Or maybe that they feel their way is superior. Also, I would think that because they put forth an extraordinary amount of effort to keep away from cigarettes and since we really don't (how hard is it to quit smoking when you're vaping, not hard at all in my opinion), that might make some of them a tad bit jealous.
