An excellent analysis of the self serving legislative alliances by entities that publicly claim to oppose each other (Bootleggers and Baptists) on various public policy issues, including cigarette and drug company alliances with anti tobacco groups to ban and excessively regulate vapor products to protect cigarette and NRT markets).

I posted a comment detailing how these alliances forged and promoted the anti THR and anti vaping policy agenda by Obama's DHHS since 2009, including FDA's proposed vapor deeming ban. Kinnison responded by posting a study finding negligible harm posed by vaping.

It's too naive, because it ignores the fact that the anti-smokers control the tobacco industry via their directors and executives. They used their money power to buy stock and vote their agents onto boards. The real scandal is how they use vapers as tools to help persecute smokers, including endorsing scientific fraud and drivel like this.
