HOLY ****! Just discovered this band yesterday and I ****ing love them. I'm amazed that I've never heard about them before. It's like The Beatles had sex with Led Zeppelin with a hint of Geddy Lee's vocals used as lube I've only heard a few songs, can anyone point me in the direction of some good albums or collections?

Saw them last year, which was about thirty years after the last time I saw them! I grew up listening to Tull and trying to emulate them in our little band. Failed sadly

My first concert was also Jethro Tull! They came to my country a couple of years a ago, I got front row seats and ended up even closer (sitting on the floor between the front seats and the stage) simply amazing!

I agree Nuck I still try to find the 70's stations on the radio. My favorite Jethro Tull album was Songs From The Woods.

I'm a Tull fan too, although not as much these days since I got more into electronica. Must drag out my copy of "A Passion Play" - one of their best and most underrated in my opinion.

My favorite part of Aqualung is the the bridge and instrumental, where it slows down and he starts singing "do you still remember December's foggy freeze" and then after the vocal part they cut loose with the guitars......gives me chills and still makes me "bang my head"

(....only now that I'm so old, I'm afraid I'm gonna either get whiplash or have a stroke so I have to watch the head banging....damnit...)

I've the cover of Broadsword and the Beast tattooed on my left arm.

Tull fraking rocks. Songs From the Wood is my favorite ... after Broadsword (which isn't typical of Tull, but I like it anyway)

The original 4 album "20 Years Of Tull" is the best compilation ever released, in my not so humble opinion
