I started smoking e-cigs in early February, starting with Pure Smoker products. When I found myself low-like SERIOUSLY low-on their Marlboro liquid, I was dismayed to find that they are moving their operations from California to Tennessee....and won't be selling anything until March 20th! Yikes!

So I started looking around for somewhere to order something quick. One place had a $12.00 delivery charge...not paying that much for a $20.00! Other places didn't have enough delivery information.

But I'd read good reviews about Johnson Creek here and ordered a bottle of their original tobacco juice late Sunday night/very early Monday morning.

Well, it arrived today and while I'm very impressed with how fast they got it here, the professional packaging, etc... I don't think I'll be able to order it again.

Why?

Because it tastes like I'm "drinking" flavored coffee rather than "smoking" a cigarette. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice flavor and aroma if you want a flavored coffee taste and aftertaste, and if that were what I was wanting, this would fit the bill nicely.

However, I want to 'smoke' and taste a cigarette.

It's sure going to be a long week until Pure Smoker opens their doors again!

I have tried JC's Tenn. Cured and the Vanilla Ice Cream, both non-pg. The flavor of the Tenn. Cured is ok but very weak, it is nowhere near as good as the tobacco flavors I have tried from Puresmoker. The vanilla ice cream has no flavor at all. I don't know if it was just a weak batch, but I can't taste anything at all when I vape the vanilla. Both liquids do smell very good in the bottle though!

The only thing I really like about JC is the little dropper bottles they give you and the nice glass bottles the juice comes in. The extras and the packaging are top of the line, but the juice just doesn't cut it for me.

The only flavors I have had is PS Marlboro and this one from Johnson Creek...and I guess Pure Smoker spoiled me enough that this just isn't going to cut it for me. I suspect my use of nicotine gum is going to go back up some until I can get more of the other stuff. And I was down from 13-15 pieces a day to around 4 or 5.

The one thing I found very attractive about the Johnson Creek products was the option to order non-PG liquid because I really wanted to see how that worked.

Having not smoked in almost 2 1/2 years I find that I am having some mild former smoking side effects. My nose is a little 'stuffy,' and I'm clearing my throat a lot more. Also, I think the vapor does leave a bit of residue in your lungs because I cough slightly more than I had been doing since I quit. Nowhere near as bad as when I did smoke though.

As far as toughing out the next week and a half-until I can get more of the 'good stuff,' I guess I'll have to look at this like I did when I bought a carton of cigarettes that wasn't my regular brand (and didn't care for too much!). I'm just stuck with it until I can get what I want.

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't care for it though.

Queen...did you pay for it through PayPal? You might be able to get your money refunded through them. Of course I don't know what the JC return/refund policy is.

Too late for me to do anything about my order because I'd be out of nicotine liquid if I sent it back.

I did email them when I got it today to let them know it didn't look like I actually got the non-PG formula, and that it tastes kind of like hazelnut coffee and the only response I got back was I could send it back and they'd ship out a non-PG bottle.

Yeah. I really want to pay shipping twice for one product...

I don't know guys/gals, maybe the batches has been pretty weak of late. I just got in some artic mint and ten. cured, the mint is weak this time around, not like the last time. However, the Cured was 24mg and Wow I'm in love. I don't usually vape straight this high, but this stuff really gives a good kick and the caramel awfully strong (in a good way) I'm satisfied with Cured but I'm sure that I'm not going to be when I cut it. Vaping this high in content straight is ridiculous.

That works. I don't want to cut it too much though. It is the "low".

Queen, that's why I decided that I would never buy anything less than extra high or fierce - I can always cut it, but can never increase the nic (well, not without other measures that I don't want to be bothered with).

I agree, the tenn. cured i think is great, no problems with the taste at all.I did however also order the chocolate almond decadence and it was weak as hell, like a barely there hint of chocolate, very faint taste..Im wondering if its just a hit or miss thing with certain batches or what!! Both bottles were the 18mg..
