I e-mail Johnson Creek this morning. I am sending my 4 bottles of this new e-liquids back.
It tastes bad and makes me kinda sick. I also e-mail them asking for the old recipe and that does not sound like this will happen. Until they change this new recipe. I will not order.

I sent a tactful email to their support expressing my dissatisfaction. Everyone that feels the same should let them know. Hopefully they will take it to heart and fix their formulations.

Thanks People for e-mailing them. The more they hear our dissatifaction, the better the change we have of getting back the old forumla or a remedy for this formula!!

Again their email is their e-mail is support@johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com

I wandered over to comment on the JC sample pack I got last weekend (had never ordered from JC before), and am kinda surprised to see all these complaints, to say the least.

Since it arrived just 2 days ago, I'd have to assume it's the newer recipes. Haven't tried all 10 yet, but I haven't found one that tastes bad and several are QUITE good. I'll be going back for more.

The mint-chocolate doesn't seem to have much mint in it, but it's the closest to a true chocolate flavor I've found in any liquid anywhere, including my own LorAnn's attempts. I vaped that so much at one point Sunday that I felt a little nauseated, and remembered the sample kit is their mid-range nic level, doubtless more nic than I'm used to now.

I had seen folks complaining awhile back that the cherry flavor was intolerable... I found it pretty tasty.

I'm using a 510. All my attys are a little subpar at this point, but I'm still getting a decent amount of flavor on the 7 or 8 JC samples I've opened. That almost makes me wonder if some people just prefer/need stronger flavors... the way some people are more sensitive to scents. Then again, I can barely stand TW's Minty Chocolate, for example -- it blows my head off (and I smoked menthols back in the day).

There's a Prodigy on the way here, and I'll compare JC juice on the two asap.

Tennessee ....
I just got my JC sample pack in the mail today. I'm going to try it tonight and see what flavors I like...or don't. Didn't take to long to get here. Cute little tin. But it's true that you can't have droppers in bottles and close the lid on the tin. No biggie. Can't wait to try out these new flavors, even tho... I never got to try the old ones to compare.

Well my order arrived today and I rushed home to get it. First thing I did was un-pack the Tennessee Cured Reduced PG - filled up a new cartridge on my Dura-C (510) and put a drop on the atty. I did this one first because Tennessee Cured in the original formula was my absolute favorite!!

Upon vaping it for several minutes to test it, I have 2 strong points to make here...

1) It does not taste much like the original version at all. There is a similar taste that the original does have, I am guessing vanilla but seems to lack the coffee caramel taste that I am used to (I am not the best as describing flavors). I really do like the original much much better.

2) It is actually a pretty descent flavor though! It is not horrible but it is not the best either… just a pretty good flavor and possibly in my top 3 of the dozen I have tried.

After reading all of the posts, I will say that I was terrified on how this was going to taste. I am wishing I got the PG version though. The vapor from this is 10X better than the original PG version but almost feels like air going in even though I got the high nicotine level.

I think we all loved the original so much that we had such high expectations for it. I included, would prefer the old version by a mile. I may buy a small bottle of the PG to give it a try as well but for now I have a 30ml bottle of the Tennessee Cured, Original Flavor and the Sampler Pack to try. I will be sure to continue to post to this thread as I get through trying them all.

Oh, and I too will email JC about my dissatisfaction but it really is not a bad flavor. :)

OK... Well I sat down and tried all of the flavors in my sampler last night. I have to say that most of the flavors are descent to good. Sadly, after trying it more and more, the Tennessee Cured and JC Original are probably the worst now in my opinion. :(

I orginally stated that it was a pretty good flavor but I retract that comment now!! They are both horrible... I am thinking it may be the "Reduced PG" as they both have this ame flavor/after taste that I am not liking at all!!!

Booo on Johnson Creek!!!!

I ordered the JC menthol new formula and am expecting it any day so I will let you know how I like it.I did have a question and I'am still a newbie if this is a dumb question I'm sorry but what is non PG.I know what PG is but don't really know what non PG is?

The Non-PG used to be VG but now it is just a Reduced PG - which is partially PG and partially VG, more PG though from what I understand.

I tried the Arctic Mint (Arctic Menthol?) last night from the sampler. Not very minty at all, but it almost seemed like more of a trace of actual PEPPERmint, a flavor that'd be great to find in a stronger form!

I've only tried one of the 2 tobacco flavors, don't remember which -- I'm not a good judge of those, not being wild about tobacco flavors. But it's certainly nothing I'd pour down the sink! This has been a really enjoyable sampler for me (and JC deserves props for even MAKING a sampler, bless 'em). My only problem has been that the medium-nic is too high for me now. But JC made it easy for me to become a new customer, knowing exactly what I'll like, in what strength, and what I won't! I'm a fan.

Was anticipating trying these on the Prodigy that arrived last night. Unfortunately, it seems the mail-deliverer shoved the package under the lock mechanism inside the mailbox, because suddenly neither mailbox key at our place will work. It was MADDENING knowing it was just SITTING in the frackin' box and I couldn't get it out! It had better be liberated by tonight!

What is the size of each bottle in ML of their Sample Pack?

They are about 3.67mL each.

JC email said:
Hi Jeff!

Each one of the bottles in our Sample Pack is one fluidram, which is about 3.67mL. That's a total of nearly 37mL in each Sample Pack!

Hope this answers your question- please don't hesitate to reply directly to this email if you have any further inquiries!

Just opened a bottle of the new formula TN cured OMG this stuff is soooooo nasty how does anyone vape it? I'm sending it back and will not order from them again until they go back to the old formula. The old formula was awesome this new stuff makes me sick.

Smoking a regular cig would taste better then this, heck makes me wanna find an old ashtray and lick it just to get the flavor out of my mouth.

The JC espresso is the best coffee type juice available. It actually has a coffee flavor. Its my favorite vape. The vanilla is good too!

Yeah a friend of mine gave me a bottle of the JC espresso flavor and it's pretty damn awesome. Tastes like a creamy cup of coffee. Although the only issue that i had is that its flavor dominated my entire pv. I changed carts, flavors, etc and it still had an espresso flavor to it. I finally had to change atomizers and clean the one I had been using.
