I really liked the old JC. Vanilla ice cream and tennesee cured and the kona were wonderful. I have tried the new french vanilla, and the black cherry. I do not like either one of them. They have a bad after taste and I can't get it out of my atomizer. I am soaking it now hoping it will come out. I don't know what they did, but in my opinion they did not improve it.

I'm not sure why but there are always these rumors disparaging JC. I have been using them almost exclusively and have always found the juice to be of high quality and consistent.

I prefer the Tennessee Flue Cured and the tobacco and got a large order of both just about two weeks ago. It tasted no different than usual and was perfectly clear and good.

I have been using JC since January and have had no problems with atomizers either, which is another rumor that seems to go around this site.

JC makes one of the best eliguids available so it eludes me as to why these rumors are always circulating. A disgruntled customer, a competitor, I don't know? I do know that they had trouble with ONE batch right before I started using them and they seem to have been targeted ever since. Imagination is a powerful thing and it's not fair to a good company like JC.

Note: I am in no way, shape, or form affiliated with JC, nor have I ever received anything free, or even a discount code from them. My opinions are all based on extensive personal experience.

Your order two weeks ago was the old formula which I loved. They have changed the new formula and it is not the same.

The old JC juices were some of my favorites. I have heard hardly anything positive (98% bad) about their new formulations. I am glad I delayed ordering their new sample pack, now I won't bother. I'm ready to replenish supplies but will not be ordering from JC this time around. Hopefully they'll get it together soon.

I do hope that people take a minute an email JC to give them the feedback just how bad this product is and that the old forumla should be offered as al alternative if that is feasable for JC.

There e-mail is support@johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com

And it only takes a minute of your time to give them feedback so they know.

Rejoice,

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that they had changed their formulations so recently. I really will be bummed if they bolloxed up the Tennessee Flue Cured. In my opinion, the best juice I ever tasted.

Is it possible that the new higher voltage PV's are changing the taste? I read on another site a couple of months ago that this would happen. The higher voltage actually changing the molecular structure of the juice causing a terrible taste. I'm not making a statement, just wondering, because most of the positive reviews I've read in this thread were from people still using the lower voltage PV's.

I have a Prodigy Pass-through 901 on the way but I don't think that will allow me to compare because it won't operate with the higher voltage of the regular Prodigy or GG.

Has anyone compared the taste using a side by side comparison with the high and lower voltage devices?

I tried it with my old 510/901 as well as with PS- Passthrough, expecting to get my Prodigy soon, but no the taste are way different to me, the Summer Peach is ok and I will probably keep that and mix it sometimes with my some of my Peach Cobbler, but I am sending the others back. I got the TC, the Expresso and their Tabacco(glad they were only the 15ml bottles) but I don't like them. I will definetly let them know, especially with the fact that they got rid of their Kona flavor.:(

Thanks for the answer ande111. What a drag. :( Why would they screw up such a good product??? I plan on letting them know, too. As another poster said, they should at least make the old formulations available. I would hate to see a good company go by the wayside. There are so few of them. Their shipping time was never great but that was, at least, tolerable. This sounds not to be.

Observations as a JC juice lover and experienced user:

-Vaping the old formulas on a 510 and a Prodigy: Prodigy brings out the robustness over the 510. But both were great.
-The new versions of Original and Tennessee make me feel like my mouth is swimming in corn syrup. I was a loyal customer and now I'm on the hunt again.
-They will not be bringing back the old formulas because the very reason they switched was a legal one.

Is there any difference in any of the other Chinese juices for sale? I hear people rave over PureSmoker's juice. How is it any different than any of the other imported stuff? I think I'm going to start making my own with flavorless eliquid and Bickford's flavorings. What the hell...worth a try...

Did ya'll read this on their website:

"New vs Old and Changes to the Flavor Line Up:
We’ve received an amazing amount of feedback since our inception regarding flavor suggestions, requests and reviews of our products. We wanted to take these into account while remaining true to what so many people have come to love. We also want to make sure we’re doing everything we can do to be a responsible leader in an industry being closely observed for future regulation. Many of the flavors will be only slightly different from their Classic Recipe counterparts. We wouldn’t have made these changes if we didn’t expect them to be even better than before – We felt changing the names would help avoid any confusion in the future. Here is a run down of some of our flavor changes:
Simply Strawberry is a “cleaner”, “fresher” taste than it’s old version. It has less of a tobacco note and should be really nice for the fruit lovers.
Black Cherry is more mellow than Wild Cherry was but will still give you a nice cherry kick.
French Vanilla isn’t as overwhelmingly sweet as Vanilla Ice Cream.
Espresso is similar to Hawaiian Kona Coffee, but adds a little bolder, richer flavor to the familiar coffee taste.
Arctic Menthol is likely the biggest change due to the most requests. This has a punched up menthol kick with a little mint flavor instead of the other way around. We really believe that any menthol smoker/vaper is going to love this new recipe.
Overall, we think these new recipes and flavors will really appeal to our regular, loyal customers and anyone new to the e-smoking experience. Nervous about the change? Don’t be; you’re going to love our new recipe too! But if you’d like to snap up the Classic Recipe, then head over to www.vaporguys.com- we’re working with them to make the remainder of our line available to those interested . "

This sounds like we can only get the "original recipes" through vaporguys now.

Oh yeah, thats right!, I remember now. Just hit them up for 2 15ml bottles of OT and two of TC. They are out of 30ml bottles. I left one bottle of original...there were 9 when I first hit the page...thank goodness for the speed of PayPal, because quantities were dropping like a rock in the 2 minutes it took me to place the order...and because once they're out, that's it.

Thanks for reminding me, deeanne59 :)

In objection to their new formula, I got this response:

Hello folks,

I’m really sorry to hear you aren’t loving our new recipe. I have passed on your comments to our executive team and Juice Masters. If I hear anything from them regarding our old recipe, I will let you know!

Cheers,
