I just saw on Facebook that Johnson's Creek is stirring up a divide by having set their profile picture as a rainbow tree.
In my opinion, if you don't want people to have equal liberties, then you shouldn't be allowed to vape. Blu or Vuze if anything. That cotton candy flavor is too tempting for children!
I'm glad that a vape company is brave about their views on equality, and since they're one of the few companies that refunds absolutely anything they sell (mods, tanks, coils, anything... I've dealt with them and they're wonderful folks), I think they have a right to have an opinion. They do more for their customers than most shops are ever willing to do.
Now, horrible juices, but... good folks.
I just don't get it. The recent laws aren't forcing any churches or priests to authenticate a marriage. Just courthouses. I'd personally be against forcing a church to marry anyone they don't support but governmental agencies are supposed to give equal rights whatever the case.
No one down at the courthouse gets all godly with it, they marry hindus, christains, athiests, actors, night ladies, heck, a lot of places will recognize a marriage between a person and a object. Worrying about gays being married is something that seems so irrelevant to me.
What if Johnson Creek had posted a picture of Jesus, or a cross? Would that have really been wrong either? I don't think there's anything wrong with a company supporting whatever view they have as long as it's respectful. I could have saw a picture of a rainbow or a cross on Johnson Creek's profile and had no reaction either way.
But when people say things like "Johnson Creek used to be me ADV, now I'm refusing to buy from them because of this picture." or "This company will burn in you-know-where!", that's disrespectful and it's only hurting yourself. If you're going to give up on a company that helped you stop smoking for months or years, you really should be thanking them.
And people comparing gay marriage to rape or bestiality. One, minors can't legally give their consent to sexual activity with an adult. That's the equal law for all minors, gay, straight, black, white, Christain, Hindu, whatever. The US recognizes absolutely no marriage between an adult and minor, even if the marriage originated in Afganistan or somewhere. In that, it's all equal.
But one type of of-age person being allowed to hold a certificate and another of-age not? That's not equality. And if you don't like equality, then maybe it aint the country for you. And concerning animals? If someone wants to marry an animal, let them. Animals would rather be married than be slaughtered for McDonald's, I'd say. If you don't think animals should be forced into something against their will, become a vegetarian.
And bestiality, farmers do it every day. These animals get more action than a $5 bill in a Vegas strip club. It's called semen extraction and it's already legal, so, tough luck to anyone on that argument. I truly don't believe true bestiality should be legal but animals are just that weird point that no one can truly have a good argument on. It's one of those things people say simply to strike fear into others, bestiality is really that point of nonsense no return.
