Hello, Ive been reading through the forums for a few weeks now learning about the world of vaping and deciding on what to buy. A good friend of mine has been vaping for months and turned me on to the idea. Wanted a good starter kit, but nothing where I would end up replacing in a few months due to it being too "starter-ish". Wanted something built well with enough power to satisfy me for as long as it lasts and keep me from ever going back to analogs.

So, I ordered then received my Smok Tech E-Power on the 23rd of May and havent had an analog since the 22nd! Love the experience so far and I'm expecting my dual coil clear carto's tomorrow!

Really digging the Topvapor raspberry and its my all day vape ATM. Would like to find a good tasting pistachio ice cream flavor? Not sure if the ones Ive seen taste anything like pistachio pudding or ice cream, which is what I'm after.

Finally, I started vaping mainly for financial reasons (currently unemployed) and also the great health benefits. Got more flavors on the way and look forward to being a part of this growing community.

Welcome to ECF and I am sure you will enjoy it here. There is a sub-forum for juices and you might want to ask your juice question in there. Sorry to hear you are out of work and I hope things pick up for you. I also ordered some dual coil cartos and looking forward to trying them.

I quit smoking the 6th of March this year thanks to e-cigs. Tried everything else to quit and couldn't do it. Good luck.

Good for you. I looks like you did a little studying before you bought. I don't have a E-power but from what I have read on the ECF forum, it looks like a good unit and you can replace the batteries cheaper than a eGo battery, so it saves you money. I may try one of them in the future.
I hope you find new employment, and soon.

Thanks everyone! I also have a question...

I have 2 attys that came with it, 1 is pulling great, the other not so much... now I did some research on it and read in another post to push the pin up a little if the draw is tight.

I noticed in the good one i can go about 1/2 inch in with a paperclip before it stops (no pressure at all just a depth check)

The bad atty, i immediately hit something about 1/4 inch up, maybe less.... it did slide up a bit but im still at 3/8 or so... and it wont budge anymore. Hit it again and seems a tiny bit better but performance is still sub-par.

Warranty states DOA, since this really isnt useable, would this be considered DOA? (bought at madvapes) Haven't filed a ticket yet, was thinking of asking anyways.

Also seems to flood or gurgle on me no matter if i blow it out really well or not. Can't seem to get it to preform like the other one that came with it. Would be nice to have 2 working attys. Any other tips other then pushing up on the pin.

Also a lil note: the mesh covering the bridge isn't as fat as the other.

I would think so and I think you should fill out a ticket and find out. One of the attys that came with mine went to high ohms and stopped working after three days (possible cold solder joint). I got mine on a good sale and wasn't to upset but it pretty much wiped out what I had saved on the sale lol. I do wish the quality control would improve on pv products.

Are these just atty's (not atomizers?) for atty's I use a paper clip to push up into the atty. It also has 2 holes on the side of the tread so press it in there too. Then pour a little juice in the atty and blow it out. If you have a drip tip (if not pull the filler out of your cart) Then put it on the atty with out the battery and draw on it and do the same to the one that works better and see it one draws air better than the other one. If you have a volt/ohm meter check the risistance of both. It may be a bad atty?? Be careful with the paper clip you could hit the coil and ruin it. A little gurgling is OK if it vapes ok. if it floods it, you know because you will not get much vapor, and it will flow out into the battery cap and will need to be cleaned by wiping with a paper towel.

Hope this helps some.

Welcome to ECF Titan! Also agree with LFT on contacting Mad Vapes with your non-functioning atty. Just give them the same info you gave us if it is still not working for you. I am sure they will help you out. The E-power is a great starter kit too from what I've seen. Really like the idea of replaceable batteries. I am a fan of Smok Tech products. I got my ST eGo from MV and am very happy with it. You might want to try some cartomizers with your new rig. I use the Boge standards and got some Bauways with my kit. Work well, reliable and each one has lasted me a very long time. Attys and cartridges are a bit unpredictable for me. I use the atty with just a drip tip for trying out new juices. It is great for that!

Thank you all!

wyojoe, not sure if u meant cartomizer, but it is an atomizer (i figured it was reffered to as an atty) i did poke the side holes just now, gave it a good blow out... it's odd it pulls good then at the end of my pull its a fizzy gurgle sound. Still not right.

I'm gonna give it a good break in tonight and if it's still acting the same I will fill out that ticket and update this thread.

BTW, instead of getting more atty's I am getting some cartos, hoping to just use those attys for direct dripping (have 2 drip tips on their way also, heard the dual coils run hot) all in all would be nice to have 2 working equally as good, for testing flavors before I go and fill a carto with em.

Once again thanks for the advice everyone n Happy Vaping!

You are right, they are reffered to as atty's. I looked at my reply and I should have wrote cartomizer in the quote marks. Did you get them working??
