Greetings all! New to the forum, but have been lurking about for a while. Though I quit analogs over ten years ago, I was a 2 pack-a-day smoker for over thirty years. I still have a passion for fine cigars however, and got into vaping about a year ago so I could enjoy some semblance of the smoking experience without having to devote an hour or more sitting outside (even though my wife enjoys the aroma of a good cigar - NO WAY is it gonna happen in the house or the car!).

I especially love Cuban Cigars, but due to cost, availability and legality, I don't have many opportunities to enjoy one. I found an e-liquid that comes pretty damn close though (Liqua Cuban Cigar). It might not have the punch of a Cuban, but the "creamy vanilla soda" finish that only a real Cuban cigar has is spot-on in the exhale...they nailed it perfectly. I can now enjoy the flavor of a fine Cuban cigar anytime, and anywhere I want....even in my house. Its been a revelation.

I've tried a bunch of different e-cigs & mods in the last year (Blu, Apollo Elipse, V2, etc) I've currently settled on a couple of Volcano offerings - an Inferno kit to use while driving & out & about, and my new favorite; the Lavatube II (LOVE it!).

I've learned a lot in the forums, and hope to do more in the future.
Enjoy....

I with you on the cigars. Nothing finer - except maybe a mix of Red Oak VG and some Rum to give that fat smoke flavor and cloud that will fog your windshield!

Be careful...the police might think you are smoking something else and Florida has no sense of humor about that!!

VAPE ON!!

hello all,

I'm new to posting but have been avidly reading the forum threads. I have garnered invaluable info in my journey to become a vaper. I have been vaping for a year now and have been cigarette free since then. Without this forum I would not have known where to begin. The information and choices are overwhelming for a newbie vaporer. Also because of my trial and error approach I have been able to help a fellow smoker become a vaper - and not go through the mistakes I initially made - yipee!!

So thank you all for your help on this site

Hey everyone! new to the forums and apparently this is the place to start!

Recently started vaping a week ago (after a long promise to myself to make the switch) and absolutely love the change from my roll ups, even after a week the thought of a cig disgusts me haha! wish i had started a lot longer ago.

I tried vaping a couple of years ago but due to my lack of knowledge bagged myself a crappy starter kit which put me off completely (bad tasting liquid , short battery life, bad attys etcetc.)
After seeing the new tank style systems and VV mods/batteries i have taken a new found interest and landed on my feet with a starter setup im overly happy with. Got myself a couple of eGo twist's one 1000Mah and one 650Mah for when im working. Along with this ive bought a couple of vivi nova's (regular 3.5ml and mini) some cartomizer tanks and a range of different ohm boges to play around with.
Through the forums ive also gathered a range of tobacco styley liquid's im equally happy with (RY4, DK-Tab and some menthol when i feel like a change!) also thinking about provari's but ill have to talk to my back account about that

Good to be a part of the forums and part of the vaping community, ive learnt an awful lot already and feel alot more informed then when i tried before!
