The trick is supposed to be Malic Acid. I haven't had much luck with it myself, though... I'm still trying to get the hang of it.

Malic acid is what gives Jolly Ranchers their Jolly Rancher pop, if that helps, and it's available as crystals or already in pg from several sources. I got mine at Perfumer's Apprentice. It tastes tart (I dropped a bit on my tongue, of course with no nic!!!), but I don't get a tart flavor when I vape it, even straight...

Yep malic acid or the sour flavor that is offered by TFA or Loranns is the same thing already diluted :)
The trick is to use enough but not too much :)

Ain't that always the case?!!?? I'm thinking the trick might be to make Malic Acid pg as strong as it will absorb, then use that to cut my nic from 36 mg/mL to 18, and then adding the fruit flavoring... The problem I'm having may be that the PG just won't absorb enough of the crystals...
