It's funny how I always read about super high voltage vaping.
When I bought the Vea last year. I was kind of confused.
Why was it regulated at only 2.8 volts?
It limited me to using Vea cartos. But the taste and vapor were still great.

Now that I use the Vision Spinner as my main PV.
I always seem to go back to the lowest voltage setting.
Use mostly CE4s & Vision Nano clearos.
Always high VG content juice.
Does anyone else like vaping Low V?

No. I like vapor, flavor, and throat hit. At 2.8 volts, you'd need a 1 ohm atomizer to get 8 watts, which I don't think would work at all on standard equipment.

You guys probably get awesome battery life though... And your wicks and cartos probably last forever.

I'm usually vaping at 7 watts or below. I use a twist and I don't think I've ever used it above 4 volts, usually I'm right around 3.4v. I wrap my own coils for everything and I keep them between 1.6ohm and 2.2ohm. Anything above 3.8v tends to taste burnt to me but I usually vape fruity flavors.

cant vape lower volages/watts. Just not enough throat hit vapor. My lowest set up would be my sidewinder with a 1 ohm coil right around 15 watts, highest is a juggernaut dual coil .4ohms right around 30 watts with the voltage drop. I swear all of my liquids taste better at 25+ watts but i cant stand the battery life of my juggernaut to use it 24/7. Get around 2 hours out of an 18650 before it drops out.

I prefer lower voltage too. I HATE it when I get a harsh snap of burn when I vape. Yuck. Mostly happiest at 3.4 to 3.7 volts, using 2ohm atomizers/cartomizers....favorite level is around 6.5+/- watts. Of course, with mechanicals like the Vmod...I'm stuck with 4.2 volts for a bit when a battery is fresh, putting my watts up to 8.8....but I can live with it for a short time until the battery moves down to more reasonable voltage levels. The lowest I really enjoy is just under 6watts...that's hitting rock bottom though, as it does weaken the TH a bit.

Yes...I know I could put a Kick in the Vmod and my other mechanicals...but I haven't yet. Still thinking about it. And yes...I like mechanicals, but not because I want to use some crazy low ohm hand wrapped RBA. I like them because they are simple, to the point, and mostly repairable.

Do you use 26g or 28g wire to set up the 0.4ohm coil?
