Joyce Ego battery or a knock off?

Thought I had it bookmarked but didn't, a site that had some pics and tell tale signs that the battery is from Joyce and not another company (from what I understand some of the Ego battery clones are good and others no so good).

I was curious cause the ones I got claimed to be from Joyce but could swear that the Joyce site said there was etchings on the metal end of the battery and mine doesn't have it. No problems with them but was just curious if it was a bait and switch.

You do mean Joye, right? (gotcha!)

I forgot - what was the kit you bought supposed to be? Was it one of the Joye tank systems? That will help us figure about what battery type (and look) should be in there.

Yeah Joye...... Was sleep typing due to Mr. Insomnia coming to me.

Was the same kit you ordered, the eGo-t tank system. Claimed to be from Joye. The battery does have "eGo-T tm" on it.

I'm not complaining, but would like to know... So far the bugger works like a champ.

With eGo-T on it - likely a Joye batt. Not aware of any etchings on Joye batts. Riva's have an etching but, I don't think, Joye's do. Joye batts, my experience anyway, have a hard, clear plastic button and show white when led on. If you can check unloaded voltage - if Joye eGo - it will likely be 3.4 or 3.5 just off charger. Non-Joye will likely be higher - maybe as high as 4.2.
