Order placed. 306LR atties and drip tips, 555 flavor, eGo Mega cartomizers and a few other odds and ends. Thanks Amy!

Wow, Bengal, you ordered alot of attys. How long does one of the LR 306 usually last you? How about the 510 LR? I'm so new at this I didn't know how much to order so this was kind of a test run.

Haven't tried the 306s yet. (only ordered 5 for now) Atties last me longer than they seem to last most people. I really don't kill them unless vaping at 6v. They eventually start to under perform and that's when I swap them out, but I usually get weeks or months out of them before I retire them.

Ah, okay. Must've been someone else ordered a bunch cuz that number really went down in a big chunk early this morning and now they're almost gone. Something tells me they have more though. I ordered 3 each of the LR and the regular 306, the latter for my 510 and Stick and regular vaping on the eGo.

I'm finding with my first atty that dry burn cleaning restores it's function but only for a day or two then I have to do it again while my 2nd atty is still going strong. I think I waited to long to clean the first one, but a month is not bad.

I rarely clean my atties, or even dry burn. If I can't get the taste out of one I'll flush it out with hot water. For me the secret just seems to be to keep them wet.

Not sure if this is the rite place to ask this but what is the difference between a LR atty and a regular one a far as performance goes?

The LR attys are only to be used on 3.7 volt 420mAh or higher batteries and not recommended for 5 or 6 volt devices. The eGo mega LR attys only to be used 3.7 volt 650 mAh or higher batteries. They heat up faster, produce more vapor as a result and more throat hit. They are cheaper because they are said not to last as long as regular impedance attys but I cannot yet vouch for that but if you order keep them wet at all times so you don't pop them, burn them out.

LR atties simulate 5 to 6 volt vaping with a 3.7 volt device. A lot of people who used to spend a lot of money on bulky high volt devices have switched to eGo type 3.7 volt devices with LR atties for size, battery life and convenience. More vapor and warmth than regular atties, closer to the "feel" of a real cigarette.
