Joye 510 "clones"

We put some "clone" 510 parts on the site. We think these work just almost as good as the real Joye parts but didn't want to mislead anyone and sell them as Joye. We still have the real ones for sale also but the clones are a few bucks cheaper.

We have white/orange manual batteries and atomizer and black/blue batteries and atomizers.

These are made by SLB/JSB.

Give them a try...we think you'll like them.

SLB is the "original" manufacturer for the 901.. right?

I would expect their stuff to be pretty dern good.

I'm really interested in the feedback on the 510 attys. Always looking for a slightly better unit....

SLB makes the DSE901. 901 is kind of a loosely used term anymore. Even the RN style are often sold as 901's. I think First Union actually created the "mini". And then you have some other factories making copies of that...it's crazy.

There is suspicion that Jaishebao actually makes this clone 510 but SLB swears that they made it. The battery works very good and the atomizer does too. I think the true Joye 510 atty is still maybe a bit better because of its wick design but I doubt most people could tell a difference blindfolded.

I've only sold a few so far so maybe I'll get some emails with positive news from the public. I just know that so far they've worked just fine for me.

Say Rob, are these clones the ones with the gold bands on them? Like the ones that TW sells? I am looking for the non banded 510 atties. Would this be the true Joye tech that I am looking for? I had four of those non banded ones last me for almost 4 months. These gold banded deals that I get 5 packs of don't seem to last me more than three weeks. I could just be abusing them a little more these days though.. I see the pix on your site do not have the bands but no pix of the clones to compare this.

My clones and my real 510 attys all have a thin band. I have a couple attys I got from e-SmokeyTreats and they have the thick band. I believe you can order them either way from Joye.

Do the atomizers look any different inside? Can you tell the difference with just looking?

Yes internally they are visibly different. The clones have a metal ring that goes around the atomizer bridge. The atomizer bridge is also wider. I'll see if I can get some pictures up shortly.

I tried the SLB 510 atomizers from another vendor and do not like them at all. They don't get as hot and therefore less throat hit. The ones I got said CYCLONE 510 on the atty. Are these the same ones you have?

Yes they fit the same chargers. So far I haven't had any physical incompatibilities. I think a few people have had issues with carts fitting either too loose or too tight across the two models.

These are probably the same thing that the other vendor has/had.

We're just about sold out of them...not sure if I am going to order more or not.

I recall a rather large stink quite awhile back regarding clone 510's. Lots of threads and posts and "investigative" rants at the time about where they came from and people were frantic and rabid and...

Hadn't really heard much or thought about it since then until this morning. Another thread caught my eye and led me to this thread which, led me to take a look at your site.

So, I didn't know the "clone" 510 was being made by Sailbo. How 'bout that. And according to your site Sailbo has incorporated the washer design into the 901?

Have you had any feedback as to how these new 901's are working?

As for your site, well Rob all I can say is...

You actually state what the parts are! No funny names, no model numbers used in a generic fashion.
Your don't sell the insert-fantasy-character-name-here e-cig. You do state upfront that you carry DeKang!

Yes, I have to say....now that I am using it with the SLB batteries I got from you it is making better contact. Also, these attys seem to need a bit of a breaking in period which I had not experienced in the past with the joye attys. I can get it to heat up decent now. Thanks!

Just so you know, I also LOVE the 3ML empty bottles... Hold just enough and don't leak... exactly what I was looking for.

I think I may like them more than the real deal. It seems like I get more flavor with the reduced heat, and the throat hit is fine for me. Plus the $3 or so discount will help me save up for the Vapre 51
