I was using my PT today and it just stopped working. i got it from Cignot, its the kind with a battery. im a bit confused, i thought that the whole point of a PT was that you could plug it in to a USB and it would work. i have it plugged in and its still not working. the battery might be dead but shouldn't the thing work almost as soon as its plugged back in?

highly disappointed in this thing..:(

thanks for the info guys.

it was working just fine for two days, i was just using it and it died instantly. im guessing that its the battery but i thought whats the point of this PT if it runs off a battery? sure it lasts longer but i want to sit at my computer and not have to worry about the battery dying. this really makes it usless for a backup..

Mine actually did the same thing, only it was after 15 minutes, not two days. I remembered reading somewhere on here that someone had gotten a hint from the gals over at Cignot to remove the battery and pop it back in then try....I'd reference where that came from but I just can't remember, I'm sorry.... anyway, I tried it and, sure enough, PT was back in action again.

Odd, but hey...it worked. Probably a connection issue or something. Give it a go, if nothing else you're only out about a minute's worth of effort, right? I'll keep my fingers crossed (figuratively speaking, of course, LOL).

Once it's fully charged it should keep up if it stays plugged in. If it's been plugged in all along you are either a vaping fiend or somethings wrong.

I hear Cignot takes good care of their customers so not all is lost.

I emailed them my problem, im sure they will help.

i havent had it plugged in all this time. i actually only had it plugged in a short time. i have been using it all day in front of my TV and while running around. it lasted me for the entire day so if its not dead ( i think it may be) then it would be perfect for me to take to work and not have to worry about the other ones.

we'll see what happens. looks like ill need more batteries though. i only have 2 + the PT.

as far as my use... im new to this and trying to figure it out, but i cant seem to get the satisfacation i get from a analog.. sort of anyway. i have to take like 5 big drags off it every 30 minutes or less. i have all different stregnths of juice too. the one im using now is 25mg and its JUST keeping me from smoking..

I actually did that already, i was thinking maybe the connection was bad or something. didnt work though.. oh well.. ill let it sit for an hour. ive had it on for 20 or so and it still not working so im betting it died.

EDIT: never mind, i just took it off the USB and tried it again and it worked. must just be the battery was dead

Oh, yikes again! I hope it recharges...never know.

Now, I'm keeping MY fingers crossed for me because as soon as I posted the last MY PT started acting up again, LOL.

You know, if this happened with a computer part or a new IPOD accessory I'd be off my rocker upset, but with it happening with this I don't feel the same stress because I know if there is actually something wrong it'll get taken care of. I just realized that's probably one of the best things in the world about dealing with Cignot and most of the other suppliers I buy from (all folks from this forum, go figure) - they actually give a hoot about the people who buy from them...man could MOST businesses learn a few lessons from them!!!
