Hey everyone;
So, I've managed to score one of those new "510-T" systems, which is basically a miniaturized version of the eGo-T tank/atty combo. Being the kind of person that loves the compact elegance of a small e-cig from time to time, I've been anxiously awaiting the day that something like this would come along. While I was expecting to be disappointed (as most of these new tank-oriented pieces of cutting-edge e-cig tech have the tendency to do), I am not.
Pros: This thing vapes like a champ...
-Phenomenal vapor output and flavor quality - I'm not kidding, either. The flavor reproduction is unreal! I've vaped on about every type and style of atty and carto, and this one really stands out in the vapor output department: TONS of THICK vapor.
-NO DRY HITS!!! Anyone who's played with an eGo-T or CE2 knows what I'm talking about. This item is the exception to the rule, as I've been vaping this thing HARD all day and have yet to have even the first implication of a dry-hit.
-Feels like you're vaping LR. Very warm vapor, comparable to the temp of a CE2. Throat hit isn't the hardest I've ever felt, but it beats the crap outta the eGo-T hands-down.
-NO LEAKS!!! This one's self-explanatory. Very nice to not worry about this one!
Cons:
-The carts just don't seem to hold enough. I can squeeze about 18 drops per cart, which is about the same as my normal Magma carts.
-I'm almost positive that this thing's a juice hog: I'm not sure if it's really using that much more juice or if it's the small size of the carts, however I'm sure changing tanks FAST. Guess that's the price you pay for so much vapor production, I suppose.
-At first, the draw seems a bit stiff...But after a while, you get rather used to it. Interestingly, different batts/connectors will increase/decrease this stiffness. For example, the draw is much stiffer on 510 auto batts, less stiff on the included Joye 510 Manual's, and greatly improved on my Inferno *with* cone installed.
There you have it, the short and skinny on the 510-T, as I see it. I can't wait to get me a Magma-T and some nifty smoke/black carts to match my black auto batts. For what it's worth, the kit I'm speaking of in this review is the one that LiteCig currently sells on their website for something like $50. Mine's the stainless steel one w/manual batts.
Hope this helps everyone!!
