JOYE 510 Vs Ego Tank??

Hey all, I am 4 days in with my JOYE 510, experiencing annoying leaking..ordered some cartomizers as recomended hope thall fix it..

Ive read alot on here lately about the "Ego tank" system (and that cignot sells it)

Whats the difference between that and my 510 setup (or my 510 setup once I get cartomizers) ?

I bought a 510 starter kit and just recently ordered a PCC and 2 extra batteries..would any of this work with the tank system if I switched?

While Im very happy to be vaping instead of analogs..Im $180 in to this habbit already and just want to find the right system for me..the leaking is really getting me down and I was excited about the idea of cartomizers but havent even received them yet and am already prepared to be let down as lots are saying those leak too :/

Can you wait a bit? Suppliers will soon carry the tank for the 510.

If you get the eGo tank now, yes it will thread onto your 510, but it will look a bit weird (like a mushroom).

SO can you describe to me what the "Tank" is and how that would improve my current situation?

Also do you think cartomizers leak? so many people say cartos will be the solution to my aggravation at the leaking between the cartridge and the atty...others say I will still get leaking with the cartos :/

Im honestly happy with my 510 setup, battery (which will only get better having a PCC) love the weight/size, color (I have a purple led etc etc...the leaking is the only thing making me crazy ...went out for a "smoke" with friends at a superbowl party and slipped it into my purse when I was done..ejuice all in my purse pocket ...ew.

I don't know who is saying cartomizers will leak, but I find that highly unlikely. If you ordered 510 carto's and fill them using the condom method or by dripping you'll be fine. There is a lot of info here on ecf or you can go to youtube for videos on ways to fill them.

My cartos leaked all the time...doesn't matter the juice capacity--hence, I don't use them anymore (well, I use the CE2's for the map tanks).

Wow emanguba, that's amazing. I had no idea they were coming out with tanks (no filler) to go right onto regular 510 atomizers. I would have just bought some if they weren't sold out. I'll have to look into that a bit more. A new vaper at work likes everything other than her leaky carts (I convinced her to start dipping and she likes that better) and was eying my eGo-T.

Cartomizers CAN leak, they are just a bit less likely to do so an a standard atomizer/cartridge combo.

Tank CAN leak, I see people talking about it, but have not experienced this yet myself. They seem a lot less likely to leak than carts or cartos.

Basically the tank makes it easier to fill/re-fill your 510. They hold more liquid than a standard catr or carto, and they have no fiber-fill in them.

I really can't say how the standard 510 or "smartcarts" are, if they are anything like the eGo-T system in performance, then they rock.

I carry around full tanks instead of bottles now. I don't have to re-fill away from home, I get consistent vapor and flavor from them, and they don't leak. For me it has been a complete win.

There are some people that don't like them, but a lot do. They are worth a try for sure.
