Joye 510 vs NJOY NPRO

Hey guys, this is just maybe an informational post...well, I guess since I'm new at ecigs it's more of an observation then anything else.

So, when I wanted to get an ecig about 2 weeks ago I went to a local smoke shop and walked out 80 bucks poorer but with an njoy NPRO.
At fist I thought it was great but really I didn't have anything to compare it with since I don't know anyone else that uses one and this was my first time.

Anyway, I started watching videos off this site and reading stories here as well. I started getting a little perturbed over the fact that everyone seems to have much better vapor production and stories about their own ecigs. Mine was producing just a tiny bit.

So on Monday I ordered the Joye 510 from lightcigusa. Got it today and WOW, this thing is 1000 times better then the NPRO I have. Much better vapor production, seems to be a little lighter (I'll weigh it later) and it came with an extra atty, the NPRO only came with the one.

I also ordered the L2 510 but haven't gotten it yet, I ordered it a few hours after I ordered the Joye from strictlyejuice.

So, I guess I will be posting about that tomorrow.

So if you're new, like me....maybe you want to try the Joye 510 before thinking about the NPRO.

Howdy BeeCee;

I started off with the NPRO too, and then bought a 510. I still use them both. Both give me great vapor & hit. The NPRO is an RN4081.

The only difference I find between the two, is that the 4081 draws a bit harder than the 510. Neither of them gives me more or less vapor than the other. If you need more information, there are specific forums for both. You'll find them at the bottom of the page in the dropdown.

Jim, for sure, I actually have one of your posts bookmarked and have read a lot of others. Maybe there is something wrong with my npro. But, just yesterday I think I figured out the amount of juice I had to put in my cartridges because I finally got it to give me a large amount of vapor but it was very harsh at the same time.... However, it died down again....also, one of the batteries for my npro is already dead I love the cartridge style on the 510 too, it's much easier to pull from.

Thanks for the reply.... I am really enjoying reading this forum. If it showed the amount of posts READ as well as posted I'm sure it would show hundreds for me hehe, I love to read all about it.

Hi and welcome.. My basic starter was with a M401 which i still love till this date .. Reason i love it cause it gives you extra juicy juice and great troat hit.. It's also a good device for on the go.. But as for my 510 it's the ultimate ..... for killing juice.. Am still getting use to it btw.. But then again it has good vapor once you get use to it

Killing juice? Not sure what that means?

Does it use up more than your M401?

Sorry didn't explain it fully..

Normally i drip or dip i don't use any cart materials.. But i do tend to try some of the mods that some of our users here has posted..

But i prefer drip/dip.

On my 510 i drip just by adding 1-2 drops directly on the atty which i think is better so i won't overflow. (Got one of thoese mini dripper bottles btw)
As for vapor and hit. I tend to get 2-3 good hits, taste/troat hit.

But as for the M410 i usually get between 5-6 with same exact 2 drips

Not saying the 510 cannot produce more but i go by troat hits not just regular vaping
Just so you would know also i take long slow/med draws on these devices so reason i may burn liquid fast.. But to get my troat hit that has me high up in the clouds it's worth it

Ahh, gotcha. I will have to look into dripping for sure, I've heard a lot of people say they like that.

Yeah, and your NPro (RN4081) is a great little dripping device.
It has a nice big atomizer bridge and it can take 3 drops without flooding.

I removed the cartridge from mine and bored out the mouthpiece holes to make them bigger.
That gave me a MUCH easier draw, and dripping is much better flavor.

Basically I turned it into the perfect juice tasting machine.


But once I got a 306 atomizer for my 510 I gave away my NPro.
It serves the same purpose equally well.
