So I've heard the ego-C is coming out or is already out. Either way I'm curious about the atomizer and now it connects. Nothing I've been able to find shows how you connect the atomizer to the battery.

Basically I'm wondering if its like a 510 connection or is it totally new type. I'm wondering if I could use it on my LT VV or Silver Bullet. As much as the ego bats are good and last a while I'm not really interested in getting another e-cig. I've got enough already.

Thanks

It's the same threading, and in principle the same as the eGo-T Type A. They have just made it so you can unscrew the end and easily remove the entire coil/spike assembly and replace just that, instead of the entire atomizer.

Would be a good idea if it was any cheaper than a complete atomizer, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The only place I know of selling them now is Totally Wicked, and they're a little overpriced anyway...

I use the eGo-T Type Bs (very) occasionally now, and I'm not interested in going to the C because it uses the Type A tanks. For some unexplained reason, the Type Bs are just better than the Type As. It's the same thing electrically, but the Type B is just a better experience. Afraid the eGo-C will be closer to the A than the B. Maybe when I run out of Type B attys I MIGHT look into them further...

Oh, and when I do use the Type Bs, it's usually on a Provari with an adapter. The threading is fine, but you need an adapter to make the eGo attys work because the cone comes down over the threading. AvidVaper.com, ProVape.com, and madvapes.com all sell them.

You can order a sample kit at indyvapor shop for like 20.00 I believe (my local shop).....should be available elsewhere but for the 20.00 you only get one tip and the tip is all that ever needs replacing so I'd rather just go all in and spend the 37-38.00 for the 5 tips at 24.95 (the body is like 12.95) and be good to go. I know I enjoy my ego-T to this day even though I've gone variable voltage.

When my last Ego-T atty goes I'm gonna pick'em up. The setup works on any Ego battery though Joye has come out with an Ego C battery.....I believe the difference is a luminescent light that shows you your battery level....charged, half discharged etc...

The atty on the C is a different design...but the setup is still 510.

I have the type B and type C. The C type has more flavor,The vapor is fine and there a LOT easier to clean.
I just grab the wick holder with pliers and slide it off. No prying involved and it goes back together just as easy.

I've only had 2 B type atties before the C's and they cant compare in my experiences. My first C atty is still going strong (with dry burn cleanings) and its well over a month old. I picked the set up from Oval when they first Prereleased to them.

EDIT: Your right about the batteries Keeno and the light changing at low capacity seems to be the only difference. They do seem to last long then my old ones. BUT maybe there just old and they didnt have the 5 click protection , so maybe older stock?

If I can get even close to a month out of an atty with the C the upgrade would be very much worth it....thanks for the post I was concerned how long the attys may last.

When I clean my atties I pull the wick holder out and leave the wick in it. I heat the entire piece over the gas stove till the wick burns white. The metal holder discolors a little.......... Safe? ( I guess) . I'm not a fan of pulling the wick out of the holder. There frail ........ The coils I dry burn while the wick is out. When done its like new again.

Dry hits dont seem to be a problem either. Unless you over fill the tank (dont leave a air bubble) or vape fast over 4 volts.
I'm really happy with them and have 3 in rotaion as of now . I had to see if the first atty was a to good to be true fluke! So I popped a couple more outta there packs...........lol

It's pretty much an eGo-T atomizer but the main atomizing component can be separated from the body. Thus you only need to replace that small component, also known as the atomizer head. The atomizer replacement cost is reduced about half with this new design.

I've ruined a lot of eGo-T atties in the past due the lid getting stuck inside the tank cartridge. I pulled out the coils trying to get the lid out. The new design solves this problem as you can easily disassemble the atomizer, unlike the eGo-T which is a one whole thing.
