Joye Ego Charger Not Working Properly

Hi. I have a new Joye ego (just bought one battery and a low resistance atomizer). I purchased the "fast charger" for it, and it seems to take forever for the green light to change to red. It only stays on red for around 20mins and then goes back to green. The battery is not fully charged and will only last 40mins or so of decent vaping before going flat. Can I use my normal 510 charger to charge the Ego? I understand it will take a long time to charge. What could be wrong with the fast charger? Thanks

Are you screwing the battery in while the charger is already plugged in? Try hooking the battery up first. Otherwise, its warrenty time.

Thanks funguy. Looks like its warranty time as I tried what you said and it didnt make any difference is it ok to use my normal 510 charger for it until I get a replacement?

I have no idea. Sorry. It may be the battery too. At this point I really can't say for sure. Do you have any regular 510 batteries you can fall back on for now?

Have you tried cleaning all the connections with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip? If it is an auto battery, I would give it a good shake and try blowing into the battery gently. If it is a manual battery, I would just give it a good shake.

Doesn't it suck when stuff like this breaks? Seems like they mass produce all the e-Cig stuff with little quality control.
