Joye EGO help needed...

Just got my Joye Ego (YAY), I also ordered some juices, some cartomizers, specifically these:
Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - Joye eGo Cartomizer

Cant figure out how to fill these blank cartos up so i did some research, looks like you must have a syringe!? I dont have one and its late at nite and I really want to try the ego.

Any help? Please, I am dying to try it!!

You've got the eGo Mega cartomizers. I used a couple of those and filled them by dripping juice into the hole in the battery connection end. Mine held around 60 drops of liquid when new and about 35 on a refill. Try slowly dripping about 40 drops into it, then blow through the mouthpiece with a paper towel or napkin to catch any excess. If you don't blow any out try dripping another 10 drops or so. Repeat until you hear a slight gurgling sound when you blow through it. If you over fill it just blow out the extra.

Bummer CoughingBad, I have not tried to fill those without an 18 guage needle, sounds like you should try cskent's suggestion, sounds do-able.

I think I like the ego!! Question though, what if I got the juice outside of the little hole on the battery end? I tried wiping it but am not sure i got all of it, if i do have some juice there, will I damage the battery?

If you have the manual eGo you'll be fine... The juice ends up thereall the time... No need to panic

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. Nothing actually happens. Actually, I got some from one vendor and one of them "leaked" the first time that I used it. I didn't realize what was happening but it didn't ruin my eGo. I just stopped using that particular carto.

Didn't get all of that juice? It made me chuckle.

Manual batteries will be fine, it's just autos that have a problem with juice. Good thing too, because when I'm dripping and take my cone off to charge the battery, it's not pretty site at times. I sometimes wonder just how much juice I go through that I never even vape.

You do want to wipe off the threads on the battery and the charger, because it really can gunk it up and the charger is vital...I'm not too meticulous...

Haven't lost a charger or battery yet though.

OK, dont laugh..... have seen this a lot, but what do those "threads" look like?

Ok, not laughing, giggling maybe....

The threads are the parts that screw together. You want to clean the juice off the end of the battery and the inside of the charger. I use a toothpick that has a napkin wrapped around it for that.

I'm glad you got it going. I don't use syringes to fill carto's. Some people think you have to but I've never had a problem filling them through the battery connection.

I would suggest trying the Mega Atty for the eGo and the 2ml carts. Very easy to use! I fill mine 2 - 3 times max. per day (depending on juice) and do not need to deal with it any longer... My only regret since I got my ego and riva is that I went with black colored batteries.. They are all scratched up from dropping them and the original color shows which is stainless...

Been using the same hardware since July and they are still going strong.. Been only buying cartridges and juices.. for quite a while

For cleaning the threads I keep a box of cheapy Q-tips around to wipe my battery and atomizer threads everytime I go to charge it! I also look inside the charger to where it screws on and wipe it with a Q-tip also! You would be surprised how much black goop builds up if not cleaned regularly! Clean will conduct the charge better! Can get a box of a gazzillion q-tips at the dollar store for about a buck!

So something is not right, the cartomizer is leaking juice. Did i put in too much? But this is the first use and i think i only put in less than 40 drops. Is it common?
