They're not exactly recommended as they can damage the MOSFET transistor due to the amount of current they pull which is generally more than the switch is rated for. That being said, I used dual coils without any problems, both regular XL dual coils and the eGo Mega Dual Coils, and loved 'em. Worked exceptionally well, never seem to burn, and wick very well producing loads of vapor.

What ever you use just remember chain vapping can cause heat in your atomizer or carto . Heat that can also heat up your battery if it gets hot enough and affect your chip in your ego . Chain vapping is never a good idea but it happens . You would have to get it pretty hot to ruin an ego battery but it can happen .

I used them on my Joye ego. It may have shortened my battery life but that was OK. My batteries were about 6 months old when I got them and they lasted another month.

They may have died from natural causes or I might have hastened their death a bit.

I used mine with 4 different 650mAh and two different 1000mAh batts. Only one of those batteries is less than a year old, and they're all still working perfectly and are still in service. :)

Well with the booster and an ego mega XL Atomizer I only get 5 hours from an ego 1000mah battery some of the time so I carry an ego PCC case with 4 additional ego-T 1000mah batteries in it . Now thats backups on top of backups . Over the top yes but I rotate them and have a spare in case a friend really needs one .

hey. i was hoping i could interject with a quick question.
i'm looking to get a spare atomizer the next time i place an order. i have an ego-T, with 650mAh batteries. the starter kit said the atomizers were "normal", but are the 1.5 ohm atomizers considered "normal" for this battery pairing?
i wanted to get a 5-pack of 2.5 ohm atomizers, but i'm unsure if they're better paired with 900mAh batteries?
thanks.

Every since The Mouse said my eGo PT could blow up using LR supplies on it I put a regular resistance atty on it. It's a backup anyway so it's okay. But that scared me. There's a reason for the warning on the eGos and Rivas about using LR attys and cartos so I don't do it. I only recommend low resitance (LR) supplies on KGOs and mods. KGOs aren't eGo clones. They're an upgraded fat battery with higher voltage and more mAh (battery life). @ 3.7 to 4.2v they can take the stress and are safe with LR atomizers and cartomizers.
