joye ego

I bought a joye ego xl kit online from what seemed to be a good dealer. My question is how do i know if it is not a knock off. Overall I am really happy with it. I have had it about a month and battery life is great but it is starting to get a funny taste about half way through a new cart. So im thinking of getting some new attys but i dont know what brand to get so i can get the best bang for the buck. any help would be great

If the vendor listed it as Joye Ego then it should be Joye. I think the metal collar around the outside of the threaded part or the battery should also say Joye somewhere (probably finely etched). And if it came in original packaging then that would say Joye.

re flavor - carts suck, atomizers get dirty. maybe just blowing out your atty would help. Worth trying. You could also try cleaning your atomizer but get spares first. I rarely use attys but I don't skimp on them. Get some spare Joye ones then you can think about what else you want to try.

I use Boge cartomizers. I only use atty to drip on to test juices and very rarely I use a cart for an extended test of a juice.
