Joye passthrough, whats with the removable batt?

Damn well, I already have one (Joye brand) I should have gotten one that detaches... Oh well, next time I will. hopefuly mine lasts a bit though!

Isn't there a battery where the cartomizer screws in too though? :mail:

yeah is technically a battery I guess but it doesn't charge..It doesn't work unless its plugged into a USB port or has the inline battery like the one you got.. Hope yours last longer too :).. Charge it for a few hours before using it, maybe that is were I went wrong.. They do sell replacement batteries for the inline ones but I never bothered replacing mine, just bought another non inline one..

I have the kind with the inline battery. From what I can tell was that it was easier and cheaper to just stick a chargeable battery inline than build a voltage regulator. The usb charges the battery, the battery sends a steady regular current to the atty. I've been using mine just about every day for the last 3 months with no problem. There is no secondary battery in the stick part of that passthru.
