Anyone else have strange issues with their Joye PCC? I picked up a Joye 510 "mega" battery and the PCC the other day. Right when it arrived I read through the little instruction sheet, put the battery in it, and plugged it in. There are three lights on the PCC. The one that corresponds to the 510 battery charge turns red when you put the battery in and the PCC detects that it needs a charge. It stays lit up red while charging, and it's supposed to turn off once the battery is charges. It never does! NEVER! I kept the battery in the PCC all day and evening, kept it with me to keep an eye on it, and the light never goes off. What worries me (besides the obvious annoyance that something I just bought doesn't work right) is wondering if the light staying on indicates that the PCC is perpetually charging the 510 battery, which of course will eff up the battery I'm sure.

I emailed litecig.com (where I ordered it) twice, and got no response. So I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts?

P.S. Though I'm new to the site, I've been vaping for quite some time. I recently made the switch away from egos and mods back to cig-like setups. My vape friends think I'm crazy, but I recently tried a cig-like for the first time in years, and was so impressed by how far they've come that I decided a decent 510 and micro-clearo setup would totally meet my needs, which is awesome! No more coil wrapping and rda tinkering for me! Most people enjoy that stuff as part of the vape hobby, but for me it was just a necessity for most part. I'd be curious to hear if anyone else has made a similar choice.

It sounds like it just needs to be returned.

I had a little trouble contacting Lite Cig when I had a problem. It wasn't working when I used their ticket system.

So, I asked about it in their subforum here, and they told me to email them instead. The email they said to use is: support@litecigusa.net

I still had trouble if I used the email on my phone. I had to actually use my computer to email them, then had no problems. And, they were very prompt about fixing the problem.

I'll have to take that advice. More specifically I emailed the owner, whose card I got from a coworker who is a long time customer of litecig and is apparently acquainted with him (I never asked him how), and the used the "contact is" form on the site itself. I'll shoot an email to the support address and see if they'll just swap it out. It's a bummer. I like this little PCC but I don't want it frying the battery.

Thanks for the help.

I'll be sure to post a quick update to let you guys know if I hear back, and how that goes.

Ok - so the folks at litecig had me return the PCC. The gentleman told me (via thier email support) that once they got the PCC back they would fix / replace it, and generally will have it sent back out to me the same day they received it. That was on the 2/18 - the same day I sent it out to them. On the 24th I received an email from a different person over at litecig asking if they could send me a silver PCC because they were out or the black ones (which i ordered in the first place) so that they could complete their ticket. I made it clear I would much rather have a black one (the silver is VERY silver - reflective and glossy) but if what she was saying was that they didn't know when they'd be getting more black ones to send me, then "I suppose so". I also cracked a joke: "I guess the silver will have to do in that case. And feel free to toss in a couple Vision Nano clearos :)" I received no response of any kind. A few days later I re-replied to her email to ask if something had been shipped to me yet. I received a 6 word email: "yes, the order has been shipped".

Today (3/1) I received a silver PCC from them. And I have to say, I'm not too happy about it. At no point in this process was anything close to an apology for the inconvenience expressed. The silver PCC, beyond being tacky, is unluckily not as we'll put together as the first (loose hinges, gaps between the lid and body, etc. Though that's not their fault, it's just adds a bit of frustration to the whole thing. Oh, and no, there were no mini clearos in the package. Of course they were under no obligation to do so, at less than $3.00 apiece, doing so would have been a super cheap and easy way to acknowledge the situation and make the customer happy.

As far as functionality, I have it plugged in now, so we'll see. The PCC charge indicator light has blinked between green and red a few times in the past few minutes - not confidence inspiring, but we'll see. And frankly, I'm over it. If it doesn't work I certainly won't bother dealing with litecig to rectify it. Ill simply pony up for another one from a different vendor.

I've placed a half dozen or so orders from litecig over the last few months, and while they ship quickly and their prices are good, I'd get the impression they're not too enthused about dealing with returns of defective items and such, or customer inquiries in general. In fact, on my last order (placed, shipped and received all while they still hady PCC processing for replacement) I ordered a number of miscellaneous items (I don't think id order anything expensive from them at this point). After completing the order I realized I forgot to pick up a set of tank caps, which literally cost less than $1.50. I sent an email and asked if they could add them to the order and simply charge me for the dollar (god forbid they eat the buck given everything I had going on with them). I received another curt response indicating that they could not add to the order.

As you can tell, I'm a bit frustrated. Litecig is a good site, with a good selection, good prices, and quick shipping, but their customer service leaves much to be desired. At least base on my experiences with them.
