Hey Guys,

Just picked up a new Ego-cc from cignot. I'm restricted to this forum even though there is already a thread about this new clearo.

My issue is with filling. The instructions indicate to unscrew the clear tank from the atomizer coil and fill from the bottom (mouthpiece down). When I do this the juice runs right through the tank/mouthpiece into my hands. Am I doing something wrong? Seems as if there is nothing stopping the juice from running through the little hole where the mouthpiece is connected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's a link to the product for reference: Joyetech eGo-CC Atomizer (Changeable clearomizer)

Look inside the Tank.
Is there a center pipe?
If yes, that would be the Air tube. Tilt and fill around, not into the tube. Stop before over filling.

Direct from Joyetech:
How to Add Liquid (eGo-CC Cleartomizer Part)
Unscrew the clearomizer base, there is a hole in the tube, simply fill the e-juice from the hole,
you can accomplish the adding of the liquid.

Now scratching head:blink:

I'm having the same issues.
The manual that came with the clearomizer says to pull out the mouthpiece, yet, the joyetech instructions says to unscrew the base. Either way its not working for me. I wasted a good amount of e-juice trying to fill this thing up. The only solution I can think of is to use a needle from the mouth piece but that's such a hassle. I ordered it so I can NOT use a needle. During the process, I think I got juice in the air outlets so when I tried vaping, I got a mouth full of liquid and a lot of gargling from the clearomizer. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I emailed Cignot about the matter, and I'm just waiting for their reply.

Most bottom coil clearomizers have a center tube. This is the air tube. While filling my smokeless image t3, a few times I've gotten it into the center tube and it just runs out in my hands.

You have to position your juice nozzle so the liquid does not flow through the tube but around it. I ordered an ego cc today and I'll see how it goes when it gets here.
Are you going to use other clearomizers, and atomizers or do these cc type only take a certain kind ?

If you're talking about the actual Joyetech eGo-CC Clearomizer that just came out you want to fill using the center hole. Any juice on the sides will come out of the air inlets on the sides under the mouthpiece.

Ah that makes sense. I'm excited to get my Cc. I've been using a volt spinner with their t3 clearomizers. Just want to try something different and keep the volt as a back up even though it's been falling apart. I had to reassemble it because it was open in the center and you could see the wires lol.

I saw your review of the CC on YouTube and it was very good, you covered a lot of things. Can you use any atomizer even with the new joy-e clearo?

You can use both eGo-C type A and type B atomizers. On the CC Clearomizer you can actually pull out the center hole cover where you fill BTW.

I've been having the same issue as the OP and assumed I would need to get those blunt tipped needles but don't wanna carry them around when I need to refill on the go. How exactly did you get the cover out? Paperclip? tweezers? and how do you get it back in? Do you think taking it out for refilling every time will damage it?

Thanks.

I got one and made a total hash of filling it. I've mastered it now, the trick for me was to remove the bottom , including the atomizer head cap. Then you can fill using a standard needle tipped bottle which will reach down and dock with the hole. The instructions are crap.

Mine came with the steel tip, which looks cool, but is cold to the touch and not to my taste. Does anywhere sell them separately (UK preferably)?

Apart from that I'm loving it, Its a nice addition to my eRoll.

Remove the bottom and atomizer head cap? Do you do that each time you need to refill or did you completely remove them altogether? Wouldn't the juice come gushing out without the silicone hole??

The atomizer sits on the headcap I believe and it's suppose to come out because you can change it. The bottom looks like it unscrews twice, once as a whole unit, atomizer inside the base with the head , and if you keep unscrewing it, the atomizer will remain in the clearo and just the bottom part comes out.

Pretty sure you are suppose to unscrew the bottom half slowly and pull so that the atomizer part comes out with the bottom and doesn't get stuck in the top part.

oooh that looks great, might have to order one myself. are they available in UK yet? also does it use type a or type b atomiser?

Haven't looked at any UK sites lately but it's been confirmed here that they come with type a, atomizers. You can also use type b.

Hi, I bought a ego-cc joyetech as well. But I have a problem with leakage after using the device for a while, liquid builds up in the mouthpiece section. It seems that there isn't a tight enough fit between the tank and clearomizer/atomizer. I tried re-assembling the unit after cleaning all pieces, but that only helps for a while. I also noticed the wirethread in the tank wasn't straight so I used a hammer to gently put it back so the tank and clearomizer has a better fit again. But no matter what I do, screw the atomizer tight or loose, there is still leakage.. Any advice? I also notice gurgling and popping sounds when using the ego-cc. Cheers!

Ps: i don't have a problem with filling the tank, that part i've mastered.

The whole thing about this new joye Cc is that it's suppose to be leak free pretty much. Have you been using a different clearomizer? Did you fill it from the top instead of the bottom?

If all else fails I would say it could be defective if it keeps leaking. Out of all the things I've read, leaking and gurgling should not be such a big issue for this model.

I get mine tomorrow hopefully so I'll examine things carefully and post here on my experience with it.
