ok that leak through the air hole at least on mine was due to the fact that the coil magically unscrews itself slow so every time you refill, the solution is screw the coil head back in tightly every time you refill, at least solved my problem with it..... (FYI if you dont believe in magic people were saying that the pressure difference cause it to suck out the coil head but i think magic is far more likely)

I also bought the Kanger Nano to give that a go its a good tank, nice that it is only cotton that your vaporing on, nice to be able to see your juice without holding your tank to the light! and the flavor at lease for me was a day and night improvement that said it has some real issues as well.

1. I like mouth to lung inhaling 90% of the time it really is not great for that it is way to airy unless you restrict it to half a hole and then it alright and only alright imo.

2. OCC kanger coils are not rated to run at 35watts the 0.5 tried to kill me at first and the 1.2 spits like crazy and make really noise popping sounds. The solution fire it for 1 – 2secs and then start vaping! If you lung hit really hard this is not a problem fyi.

After 1 -2 tanks of liquid this stops and it becomes a joy

3. I get exactly the same leak as the guy above but with my Kanger Nano but I have found no solution. Either mine is broken or I just got some bad coils that make it leak through or I have some crazy theory that vaping on it mouth to lung style is causing too much ejuce to get sucked into the coil and start to leak out of the air intake……. Not sure if that’s possible.

I still use my Nano over the stock tank because I like vaping on only cotton and I like the flavour but its hard to recommend. The draw is better on the stock tank….. I would think about the Nautilus mini if you wanted mouth to lung hits and new tank just check to see if the coils can handle 35 watts! (note it is 22mm)

Also if you just for everone on this thread (that seems dead) that wants to get the Nano there is a 1mm gap between the ego one and the tank DO NOT tighten it flush this can cause the Ego one to break as it does not have an adjustable pin

Hey guys. First post . To OP and other guy. I recently bought an ego one 2200mAh . I am having exact same problem. It is leaking out of the air intake and i also have trouble getting the air intake off. Its like its fkn weilded on.. Ive only had the thing for 3 days before it started making a bubbling sound and i started to notice oil dribbling from air intake. This is my first vape so im sorta ...... off. Now its leaking evreytime i fill the tank . I believe it must be a design fault probably due to the small rubber washer on bottom of atomizer. So im doubling up the rubber things from spare atomizer too see if that stops the leak. Keep u posted yo .

Bubbling sound, gurgling ? Your coil is flooded which explains the leaks. You will need to clean the whole tank, blow through the coil and get as much juice off as you can with paper towels..

The fix isnt so easy..
Are you using a high pg juice
Try not to pull on it too hard
Over priming the coil can also be a factor
I found shutting the air flow to half helps
Frankly I really praised my Black Ego One Mega but the same happened to me, I put a black subtank mini on it and never looked back.
Personally I think the joytech coils are awful.

Mine still leaks.I just learned to deal with it. I have two ego ones now though. One 1100 & one 2200. Both leak. On their site it looks like they redesigned the ego one tanks with bigger windows. I wonder if that one improves on leakage. Havent seen the bigger window tank for sale yet.

No. The regular ego one has a redsigned tank now. Bigger windows.
Oh I see, unfortunately, I don't think it's the tanks, its the coils ..

Here is mine before I replaced the tank..

Yeah its probably the coils. I need to change mine. Been in for like 6 weeks now. No taste difference. But I am alternating between 1100 & 2200. How often does everyone change their coils?

I vape around 2.5ml of 6mg afternoon delight per day.

And this is the flip side of these coils because apart from the flooding, they last ages !! I changed mine after 2to 3 weeks though

I have an eGo One XL and added a subtank nano. I like to switch flavors so I go between the eGo tank and the nano. The nano is leaps and bounds better than the eGo.

Top marks! :)

I agree - stick a subtank nano (0.5 or 1.2) on the eGo One battery. i.i.r.c. it's 0.5ml slimmer.

Nano on the eGo One (19mm). Mini on a mechanical mod (22mm).

So i have a ego one 2200mah its not a xl .. can you guys tell me what mods i can get like tanks and or atomisers? That will fit?
As others have said, your best bet is the Kanger Subtank Nano, your battery is 19mm wide, the Subtank is 18.5mm so almost a perfect fit..

I got a ego one mega with my evic vt setup. Tried it with the nickel cool. Worked good. Went to bed, leaked all over hell by the next morning. Swapped with titanium coil. Worked great. Next morning, same thing. That tank now sits with my unused equipment at three days old and I use my Atlantis on my joy tech battery. Seems like the ego one is junk imo.

I came across this site while researching my leaking eGo One/Tornado II Sub.

After a few weeks use, giving great favours, it started leaking from the airholes around the plinth.
Tried new coils and seals, bought a new tank/plinth which worked for a while, but even that started leaking.

Studying the tank, att, seals etc I found it hard to figure out what was wrong until I started to consider it might be me!
We all think we know how it all works, but do we all know how to use them properly?

Turns out a few things cause it to leak back though the att into the air chamber below and I've managed to stop my leaking very easily.

First off, vapour condenses in the chimney/mouth piece and will start to run back down through the att.
So I started to release the power but continue to draw on it for 1/2 a second each time, this reduced the condensed vapour considerably.

Next up, drawing on the device.
It sucks juice through the att from the tank, which is sealed.
Drawing on it to vigoursly causes the coil to flood even after you stop the powering and drawing on it.
You started the juice moving with a suck so the juice continues to flow a little after you stop, it's liquid, it does that!
So reducing my "suck" and allowing the vapour to swell in my mouth seems to work a little better.

Finally, heat.
Puffing away on it for extended periods causes it to get quite hot.
This isn't good for the rubber seals as the heat will cause different parts to expand at different rates.
So short periods of use, more often is needed.

Since I cleaned it all out and started to use it in the above fashion, neither tank has leaked!

I have an eGo One the 2200maH- and like a previous poster said, if you double up on the o-rings and it stops the leaking. I did this to use up all my atomizers (I had 10 total - wasn't wasting money)

Since then, I've got the Kanger Subtank Nano and that works perfect - but seriously, I mainly got that because the eGo tank didn't hold enough juice for me.

I just bought myself eGO One Mega and the tank seems to gurgle a lot after a refill. I don't have spare coils at the moment and I am planning to order them soon. After reading the above discussion looks like using 2 O- rings at the bottom of the atomizer helps with the leak. Can anyone please share the dimensions of the O - rings so that I can order them online without worrying for the fit. It hasn't been mentioned elsewhere in the forum I suppose.

Thanks in advance
