Well, after I just bragged about how much I absolutely love this combo, I ran into a problem. I noticed the positive post on the ViVi protruded extremely far, so I filed it down. Apparently I did not file it enough. The first thing I used on my Ego-T Upgrade was a LR Resurrector Cartomizer, and while that was completely awesome I prefer using a tank. Ever since that first cartomizer I haven't used anything but a ViVi Nova tank. Well, I wanted to try a new juice my wife was raving about I just grabbed her carto and screwed it on. I found it would not fire. So I tried a whole bunch of different cartos and atties to no avail. It appears that the ViVi Nova Tank has compressed the positive connection on my Joyetech Control Head to the point that nothing else will come in contact with it. Now I don't mind using my ViVi Tank all the time, I was a little bummed to find out that I had NO choice but to use it. Time to buy a new control head I guess. Just thought I would mention this wondering if anyone has ran into this problem, or maybe, just maybe, I can help someone else prevent it.

Cheers.

The Vivi Nova v1 had this issue, I'm not sure about v2 but GotVapes didn't carry v2... the VN v2.5 from GotVapes shouldn't have a long post as you described as that was one of the changed made between the v1 and v2.5 revisions.

I run into that with more than just the Nova. When it happens, I just gently raise the post in the batt and we're all a-go again ;)

yep what keela said lol
if i don't dedicate certain devices to certain batteries i get problems with the center pin getting mushed down. couple of my older egos i have had to replace the center pin seal with one from a carto because they wore out and started shorting...
you can lift the pin with a small screwdriver or a paperclip with a short little bend in the end hth

I did not realize there were different qualities in adapters. How do I know I have a sealed adapter and that it is good quality?

I usually put a high quality sealed 510 to ego adapter on everything. Keeps random setups from screwing with the battery post. Helps keep leakage out of the battery too. If you don't mind the extra hardware sitting on top this works very well.
