So far so good I waited what seemed like forever for the first pcc charge & now everything is going pretty smoothly. I'm experimenting with different flavors (liking fruity stuff best so far especially the strawberry with an extra flavor shot that I just got today from vaporgod).

Since I ordered 10 extra tanks 5 black/5 white I'm loading the black with 18mg & white with 12. In the morning I want the 18 but as the day goes on 12 works. I keep both erolls with me & this way I know which is which.

Filling the tanks is my biggest complaint, probably since I'm switching flavors so much. I got 3 blunt needle tips from MT Baker Vapor that fit right on the bottles which work GREAT and only cost .69 each and they fit the bottles from all the vendors I ordered from (seems the bottles are pretty universal) so I'm going to order a dozen so I don't have to keep rinsing out & switching them around! Once I figure out what I like best & order bigger bottles I guess this little problem will go away & then I'll try out the Ucan with whatever liquid I decide to carry. right now I carry a few assorted tanks - all different

I think the eroll is perfect for me - at least so far. It's not as complicated as it seemed reading about it. Crazy amounts of vapor, more than any analog. I haven't just dropped my analogs but in 2 days I'm at about 1/2 of where I was & tomorrow's a new day so I'll cut a few more hopefully. I let myself have an analog & the next time the nic monster wants to be fed I vape. Tomorrow I'm going to try 1 analog, vape 2x before another analog. That first one in the morning is going to be the hardest to drop!

Congrats Motek! I am so happy for you. Keep some extra strong ejuice for your morning vape, and vape THAT! It's not that hard to dump cigarettes once you have vaped yourself silly on a delicious flavor first thing in the morning .

Same issue with mine. At home and at work I've just taken to keeping some wipes around. But out and about it is kind of annoying that my hands are always oily.

It doesn't leak significantly.. just an annoyance. One thing I'm always concerned about though is if it fails in a worse way.. I keep the thing in my pocket and with 36 or 45mg juice, it could be a real hazard actually.

I have only seen the Ucan in plain silver, but I'm a newbie so maybe I just didn't find a different color. MT Baker Vapor Supplies (Eroll extras) Juices etc use vaporfrombaker and get 10% off

As with any threaded fitting I suspect it will leak eventually. I just don't want a more catastrophic failure that makes me sick, but I'm probably just worrying too much about it. It's just that it'd be hard to notice a sizable leak there on the side of my leg.

I'd say if it starts to leak noticeably it's probably time to either discard it, tighten it, or add thread tape, etc.

edit: to ease your mind, it's not leaking so much so far that it'd ruin anything. It's mostly around the lip where the cap fits on that's annoyingly wet, so when you go to grip it to use it, it gets your fingers oily.

I've only had it leak from the sides once with some very thin juice, and even then I'd liken it more to "sweating" than "leaking". It just worked its way down the threads because of how thin it was.

Try going with a high-nic liquid in the morning. I'm in the same boat, and I've found if I use my 48mg liquids in the morning I'm a lot less grumpy. I've now tapered off to 36mg for the rest of the day and hopefully will be down to 24mg soon enough

I just ordered another sample pack - Alice in Vapeland this time & I went with all 24mg, higher than any I have.

I also ordered a handful of the blunt tips caps from Mt Baker because I'm flavor hopping so much, & since Alice takes a while I ordered a 15ml bottle of the strawberry which so far has been my fav in 24mg also. (they ship super FAST) Hopefully upping from 18 to 24 will help. Kinda scared to go too high on the nic I have always been able to smoke myself sick if I'm in the car too long & I'm trying to keep vaping all positive. At least I vaped while I drove, instead of chain smoking today I chain vaped!

I'm finding all flavors weak no matter which vendor, I guess my taste buds are pretty dead from analogs so I added xtra flavor too hoping the combo helps.

Yes, weird, I know... my dad was career military. He came to the states as a kid...
Do the Japanese use ecigs much? I lived and worked there many years ago and everyone smoked, everywhere. I was last there 10 years ago, and they had tapered down quit a bit, curious to know what it's like now...

I can honestly say that mine has never leaked at all. Not a single tiny drop. But I must add that my ejuices are between 80 - 95% VG based. I would imagine that thinner ejuices could leak.

Regarding the Innokin U-Can; it only comes in silver, but because it's SS one could paint it with nail polish or even skin it with some vinyl .

I have never seen another vaper here in Japan. Smoking is still possible almost everywhere and a LOT of people smoke. They have however banned smoking at stations and removed ashtrays at traffic lights in the city lol. Now and again I smell smoke at the end of a station track where some guy is grabbing a quick puff. People ignore it and no action is taken.

Really, try upping the nicotine dosage. I honestly, truly feel that the nicotine you get from vaping isn't as bio-available as it is from traditional cigarettes. I've gone through 2ml of 36mg liquid today and was formerly a 1 pack/day smoker. I don't feel any different than I used to. If it were the same as burning tobacco, that would mean I've had 3 packs of cigarettes today. I can tell you with sincere certainty that I've not lol.

Thank You! 24mg just ordered! Hoping that helps since I have quite the juice collection going! I really do love the eRoll though & it was you who first told me about it on my first post on the forum Since I've tried everything else this WILL work once I find the right juice flavor & strength)

I have been using all high VG & at least I got that right first try...minimal to zero throat hit & with my analogs ultra lights that part works just fine. If it were even more than barely noticeable I'd hate it.

I took the advice I read from others here and got the 36 mg it has helped me soooooo much. I used to just vape when smoking wasn't allowed with 24 mg. with my ego-c (whatever it was called) But for now, if I'm EVER to stop entirely I'm sticking with the 36 mg (5 cigs today total) down from 40+ is a freakin' miracle for me!! So happy! Also, if you vape too much it will make you queasy, you'll know right away, drink lots of water...

Wow! So nothing has changed...I learned to smoke cigarettes there (shocker) I was under the impression that they used ecigs since they sell them on Japan Airlines...maybe I'm mistaken.

Just curious: is there a reason I don't often see people recommend IPA to clean the atomizers?

isopropyl alcohol? It works fine, but id be very careful making sure it was rinsed. That stuff is very toxic, and im not sure what the effects would be if you mistakingly or carelessly didnt clean it all out, and happened to vape some off. Thats why i never suggest it

Glad you cleared that up for me, volume control. I was about to clean my atomizer with India Pale Ale.

I smoked 1mg nic 0.1 tar menthols. I read somewhere they are the lightest cigarettes in the word. Anyway whenever I travelled I would take many cartons of cigarettes with me that I bought at duty free on my way out. It was always a hassle hiding the many, many cartons in my carry on, since most countries only allow 1 or 2 cartons at customs. Gee, those were the (unhappy) days....

Anyway, I got sidetracked. What I wanted to say is; that although my cigarettes were super light, I now vape 36mg. Trial an error over the years. I started Vaping almost 4 years ago, gave up, tried again, then in tapered off to only Vaping on planes or non smoking hotel rooms lol.

What worked for me this time (see my banner) was the high nic. From the day I quit, I never needed another cigarette. I did sometimes use a bit of snuff though to get me through rough patches.

Assuming your body metabolizes the nicotine from vaping the same as burning tobacco, it'd be 1.2mg per cigarette. So, that should mean that 1ml of 24mg liquid = 1 pack of cigarettes. In my experience though, it doesn't. I had to go to 48mg to get myself off of cigarettes entirely. I then switched to 36mg for most usage and still do 48mg in the morning.

Nicotine in cigarettes is processed to help your body metabolize it quickly and efficiently. I don't think they're doing the same thing here with the eliquids -- with the possible exception of the NJOY King. That actually hits as quickly as a cigarette for me, but it's also high nicotine (45mg).

Basically, I'm of the mind that you should up the nicotine until it makes you prefer the ecig over the traditional cigarette. You can always adjust your dosage later, after you've kicked the psychological aspects of a burning cigarette. But tricking your mind into prefering vaping over burning tobacco is a huge thing. Going above your normal nicotine dosage helps that take place faster.

I've gone through 2ml of 48mg liquid easily in a day on certain days, and the worst I've felt for it is a little icky. TennDave vapes the equivelant of 1.5 cartons of cigarettes per day, so I think that says something about its bio-availability, considering he's not dead lol.

BTW, since no one has mentioned it.. unless you're 20 years old with perfect vision, don't buy the damned black/smokey tanks. You can't see how full they are unless they're perfectly backlit lol.
